I was expecting Mrs. Lee to be biased, but she's gone straight to aburd now. MiRae's aunt and HaeJun's relatives…
> I was expecting Mrs. Lee to be biased, but she's gone straight to aburd now.
LOL, yeah! She stopped making sense in this episode. It's no longer because she's being a mother, she just wants to "win".
It would be understandable if she's acting that way because everyone seems to be ganging on her. But nope, it was not her reason, her reason is simply she's the mother. Yet the way she's acting, she just wants to win the argument over her sons.
She's funny and at the same time starting to be annoying. =))
> MiRae's aunt and HaeJun's relatives imo are doing what they're doing for money...I would not be surprised if in the case of HJun's relatives, it comes out later.
Oh, good point, especially on grouping Mi Rae's aunt with the other Lee family.
With Extraordinary Attorney Woo 이상한변호사우영우 sweeping charts in different regions and the high approval of its portrayal within the autistic community, we can turn July into an Autistic Awareness month "Part 2" annually - with 🐳 whales 🐳 as the symbol.
Okay so apparently, my theory is wrong again. So does that mean Mu Deok does not have the Ice Stone inside her…
What if … as someone in the forums mentioned, the ice stone was split in two? The bigger ice stone was infused in the Mu Deok body?
This would explain why when Nak Su used AOS, her soul was absorbed into Mu Deok's body.
Secondly, it would also explain why the "blind girl" was able to counter the soul ejector stone -- she's more powerful than that.
It would mean that the bigger part of the ice stone was infused into the body of Mu Deok and maybe it gained consciousness when it fused with the soul of Mu Deok.
OR, we can combine it with my theory that the Jin's eldest daughter's soul was split in two.
Since the magic of the Jin's is about keeping dangerous artifacts and relics locked up, maybe the eldest Jin daughter was very powerful. Someone kidnapped her and split her soul in two.
1st Soul was transferred to the body of Mu Deok together with the larger piece of the ice stone. With the Jin power, it sealed the ice stone within thus preventing any mage from detecting it. The original soul of Mu Deok is gone since it was replaced.
The 2nd half of the soul remained in the original body -- which is the Nak Su body. Possibly, Nak Su's father was already different this is why they were able to "hide" the identity of Nak Su.
But something happened, Nak Su's father failed to absorb a new person which led to him losing control and killing them all.
If someone else's soul was transferred to Nak Su's body, her father would have known since there will be a blue mark. And Jin Woo would also know since the child needs to be bathed and all, someone will definitely see.
So … it's possible the Nak Su body was the original body of the Jin's eldest daughter, which would explain why Nak Su is so powerful. What no one knew was her real identity and how her soul was split in two.
Since the two souls are now in one body, a body that is not theirs, and the other half of the soul was infused with the bigger piece of the ice stone, and her blue in her two eyes are dissipating … possibly Nak Su's half-soul and her other half-soul are finally becoming whole again.
This would mean once her soul becomes whole, she would also become the avatar of the ice stone since the ice stone was fused into her other half soul (the one that over took the Mu Deok body).
Because one thing is for sure, the artifacts and relics know who the "blind girl" is … the "ice stone". It means that the they sense the ice stone in her, as well as, they've seen the "blind girl" before. Maybe, just maybe, the soul splitting and ice stone fusing happened inside that vault … which would mean someone very powerful did it.
What doesn't align is, how can the founder of Songrim have done it. The show is implying that he hid the ice stone before Uk, Nak Su, Mu Deok, and the Jin's eldest daughter, were born.
Master Lee doesn't seem to know any better either.
If the founder of Songrim did it before they were all born, then it means: 1. Mu Deok is not the Jin's eldest daughter.
2. Mu Deok may not even be a real person but an avatar of the ice stone.
3. If Mu Deok was indeed a real person, then it would mean she is very old because she should have existed at the time the founder of Songrim hid the ice stone.
4. Whichever it is (#2 or #3), we go back to possibility that Nak Su is the Jin's eldest daughter and she was hidden as someone else's daughter. The question is WHY?
Does it seem realistic that there will be actual romance between the 2 leads? They are both really cute though…
Yes. We autistics do fall in love and had/have relationships. ^_^
This is the part I am waiting for in EAW. It is not about them falling in love that I am waiting, it is about how they are going portray on screen how autistics processes romance and how a relationship works if one is autistic.
Romantic relationship is the least talked about aspect of autism. The misconception is that we can not fall in love or we can not maintain a relationship. In some parts of the world, there are even people saying that we should not be allowed to get married or have a child -- because we are only going to spread our autistic genes and create more autistic people. In other words, we are a disease and must be deleted from the gene pool.
Truth is, we do fall in love and can get married and have our own family. There are a lot of autistic couples even--both are autistics--and they have NT children, a mix, or all are autistics.
It is possible. It is not unheard of. It is just the least talked about outside of the autistic community.
I have full trust on EAW that they will handle this properly too, 4 episodes in and they're doing great. It is about time that the world knows we autistics can feel emotions and have our own family.
That are a lot of subway sandwiches and Samsung flip phones tho 🤣
Yeah. Though it's interesting Samsung keeps pushing for the flip phones. So maybe even in Korea flip phones are not popular. At least Internationally, there isn't much trust about the quality of flip phones. Hahahaha, and it's too expensive.
Though there is one model I like which I've seen only in one show, I can't remember which, but the model folds vertically. Unfolded, it's a tablet, folded, looks like an ordinary phone (though too thick, like the old Nokia and Motorola phones =)) )
Did you know that dolphins 🐬 are whales but not all whales 🐳 are dolphins?
They belong to the Infraorder "Cetacea".

Time to brace ourselves for more heartaches!

Episode 7: It was revealed by the other artifacts that the "blind girl" = the "ice stone".
Episode 8: It was revealed that the ice stone is in the possession of the queen.

I thought I was the only one who noticed Samsung flip phones has become the standard in mobile phones in 2021-2022 k-dramas. ^_^
And of course, the never ending Subway ads haha.
