Does anyone else get the feeling that everyone on the mountain is dead, or is it just me?

Does anyone know why it has dropped to only 1 episode a day now? It is seriously making me consider putting it on hold. And honestly speaking, once I do that, I rarely pick it up again. So frustrating

To be fair, he was part of the plan to kill the crown prince. He just turned against the 3rd prince to make it look like he had tried to save them. He is just an opportunist sleeze bag

I cannot stand people who rate episodes before they even air. I wish there were a way to ban their voting/rating rights. UGH

What's funny about your statement is that the drama was a fantasy based drama. Alternate reality and all the tropes that come along with it. It was never based in reality so the arguments that it doesn't follow real life events is absolutely asinine. If people cannot discern reality from fiction and base their emotional responses on such then they really should find a good therapist.
Most countries have "Historical Fiction" types of shows that do not come close to what happened in real life. You do not see them having toddler melt-downs about it. Because they realize that it is nothing but a fictional drama.
If this was a show that depicted "real life historical figures'" OR "real life historical events" then we can talk about outrage.

I agree. Even though I liked PA I decided to approach watching this like it was a whole new drama. I have really enjoyed it. I also don't need a ton of PDA to get a get a romantic vibe. Also, everyone complaining should keep in mind that the ages for the time period are probably pretty accurate all things considered

I honestly think most of the bad reviews are because they didn't bring back the original cast. People are petty as hell. I get that there is disappointment in a recast (I was bummed myself) but what were they supposed to do when the originals were unavailable or refused to take part? But this cast is doing an amazing job. People need to stop nitpicking every freaking thing just because things didn't necessarily go their way

Shhhh. Don't say that. My heart is already in pain just with what they are going through. I don't want to contemplate worse things yet

For the episode 37 teaser: Has anyone read the book? WTH is wrong the stupid freaking emperor? Why is he wanting DX dead? Please help me understand because we aren't even there yet and I am absolutely fuming.

Thank you for the civil reply. So I am just curious on your take on something (and I really am not trying to start trouble here I promise. just want your take). If you were working as part of the promo team for a drama, wouldn't you try to hype it up as much as possible? I mean that is there job. And maybe for them they do view this as a great historical drama (which I also agree that as far as Historical dramas go I would not put it as the best either. In general I always just look at dramas as nothing more than entertainment and take it as such, but there are definitely better portrayed historical dramas out there). So I guess my question is, "How would you have gone about promoting this drama"?

I guess that is where I am having issues with this complaint against say another drama that was mainly visuals yet left the story line in the dust. The drama that they decided to pick apart actually had a solid story line and most people enjoyed it. There is never going to be a drama that every single person likes. But this had a pretty solid following of people who liked it (and not for the visuals as the argument seems to be going)

Same for you. The fact that several people have spoken out about the fallacies in your wording, yet you double down. Honestly, I am done with trying to get you to see why others are having issues with the whole thing. But once again, let me point out that there are many different dramas out there. Pick something else to watch and leave others to the ones that they prefer. Simple

You really like to go all the way around the argument, don't you? Also, just because of few people in power have their panties in a twist does not make the general Chinese population agree with this. And the director in this case (thankfully) decided to honor the vision of the original author. This really is a stupid argument. If you don't like it (the fact that the director ran true to the original story line and vision of the author) go watch something else.

It's not wrong when the character is literally described in such a way by the person who wrote the original novel. That would be the point here. There is an uproar because he is "too pretty" for "historical and reality" according to the people arguing on this. But HE LITERALLY EMBODIES WHAT THE AUTHOR WROTE. A drama is a drama, not real life. And if a drama is based off of an authors novel then it should follow the way the author has written it.

Just curious if you are one of those people who complain about Harem themes in historical dramas as well?
