Excited about JaTae ,, Never loved JaFirst, no hate but I couldn't see their chemistry so I cheered for them separately and wished them well with other on-screen partners...
Now I love Tae so much so I'm too excited for this ~~

My only confusion is with the plot, it looks so dark and traumatizing, yet the tags doesn't look that bad, with a "romance, youth" as the genre ... I really hope it's a light fluffy drama ~~

I kinda understand your point because I have seen RL and I agree with you, to me it's not about "chemistry" it's more like awkwardness in some scenes that you can't unsee, specially the SC🤣 I however still loved RL, and I think it's a step forward in danmei (compared to all the watered-down bromances china gave us).
about Desire, I have yet to watch it so I refrain from saying anything.

I believe what everyone is so hyped about is the fact that 1- we have clear Danmei story that wasn't censored, 2- it's ABO adaptation which is a specific sub-genre that is completely wild... FROM CHINA NO LESS!, 3- the cast are beautiful and somehow fit the characters description in the novel (except Gao Tu, the actor is beautiful ❤️, he was described as plain), 4- the novel is too popular.

Either way, to each his own 👍👍 and I hope you find a BL that you'll like as much as people in the comments are loving Desire ~~
