That was sweet
I fully understand why they keep pairing Wang ge with Hao Nan because they fit together like lock and key, I saw him in other dramas with other FL and I -sadly- only was able to focus on either his heavy makeup or just the plot holes.I love their interactions even if this, by all means, is not the most romantic story, the beginning is quite different from the end and that's kinda odd but it's a vertical drama so it's ok I think ~~
I ended it feeling that I've probably missed something, like what was the whole story is about anyway?
But, the good chemistry and some fun scenes covered up those weird storylines.
I think I have a new favourite pair now and I wish they would pick a better story, more romantic with proper storyline next time ~~

A very simple story, cliché and predictable but still done well, the two leads were great, I loved them both separately and I get excited whenever two of my favourites acts together, they were very comfortable with each other and the chemistry was fantastic.
The story was too romantic, with little drama and no evil characters, or at least the antagonists were not extreme.
However the story seemed a little redundant, but still because it was enjoyable I have nothing to complain about, just watching the two leads having a very normal moments isn't bad.
Overall very lovely, the FL is adorable and cute.
Recommended if you want something light ~~

This has no business touching my heart like that
This was so beautiful... So beautiful. The story is very simple and touching, and the two leads done great job, specially Akisawa Kentaro, he plays a deaf character and he managed to express all his emotions perfectly.
I don't know why this isn't popular! It's one of the best Japanese short movies I've ever seen.
Short, simple, heartwarming and beautiful.
Highly recommended ~~

The best thing about it, is that it didn't only show gay people's problem, but also tackles other issues like families, dreams and accepting your own self.
At the end of it I wanted them all to live together in one place with each of them being in his own flat but all come together during evening and have meals together, maybe talk together about their days and what happens in their lives.
And I mean anyone, except maybe for the father, he is terrible and I hated his character.
I wanted the show to keep going, I didn't want it to end which is a first, probably the only show this year that I watched without skipping a scene and wanting to see even more of it.
The cast carried their characters well, heavily focused on gay issues so if it's not your cup of tea don't watch it, this isn't really a BL, it's about gay people yes, but you won't find any romance or lovey dovey moments, however I had a good laugh in some scenes, not because they were funny but because they were very awkward or odd.
The characters are unique and very very weird, all of them are like that, you won't find one normal character here and that is what makes the show more interesting ~
Highly recommended if you like slice of life dramas about belonging and family and friends bonds~~

And this fits the category, a cute noona dongsaeng relationship, i wasn't that skeptical about the grooming idea being explored here because I didn't think that much of it, and I decided that I'd simply drop it if it wasn't good.
However this was done very well, the story is consistent and nice, the relationship is natural, no grooming at all, the ML was slightly too obsessed which is something I didn't like much but I could understand it considering that his whole world was revolving around her.
Side couple were my favourite, I loved the idea of a girl chasing the guy in an adorable way, nothing tacky about it, and the guy was so lovely, a little tsundere type but minus the aggressiveness.
The last 6ep were slightly redundant imo, the alteration between the past to the future was good till they spent a lot of episodes finishing the story in the past which wasn't the best way of segmentation since I kinda forgot what point of the relationship they were at in the present.
But all was tied up nicely I couldn't ask for more ~~

Why so serious!?
I don't really know how to rate or describe this, it's not a bad drama per se, I've seen much worse KBLs and this is even on par with the good ones. But whatever happens in the story, it Takes itself too seriously, unnecessarily...
Like they are creating problems out of very simple matters, make these problems look bigger and bigger, then pop it like a balloon in a second, so at the end you be like, well, that's it??? All this build up and struggle for it to end up solved like that!?
Why getting too invested if everything is going to be gone in 30 seconds, give me back my emotions, please!!
Also the two main characters have a very odd relationship, specially Jeong Han, he is borderline obsessive, but in the very early episodes he treat IlJo like trash, being too harsh on him for no reason and saying a lot of degrading things as if he is his slave, yet he is this hopeless lover who is destroyed when IlJo even think about leaving him...
IlJo on the other hand has no backbone, he just love to struggle and be a drama queen for absolutely no reason, not to mention the very intrusive coffeeshop owner, like you only hire a part time guy to strongly intervene in his life, you only knew the guy for what? A month or so~~ who are you even to get involved and have an opinion!!
The only thing that deserves praise is the performances, the two leads were good, great even, their chemistry is very good and they fit together and for a KBL, this had great kisses ~
I don't know if I would suggest it to anyone or recommend it in general, it's not the greatest story but the chemistry worth giving it a shot ~

It had potential but OMG
I saw a lot of bad reviews about this so I wanted to watch 2 episodes to test the water (no pun intended)Well it was interesting at first and the story had potential but there are a few things that bugged me.
1- Phu's character is so pushy, I don't really like flirty guys that can't take No for an answer and I couldn't for the life of me understand the reason for his severe attraction towards Nawa, like I understand the whole plot revolve around that but I simply couldn't buy it.
2- the whole bad guy thing and the crazy son are all too predictable and very not interesting, like I'm literally the opposite of at the edge of my seat, I even dozed off while watching ep4.
3- the slow pace slightly irritated me for someone who gave this show a 2 episodes trial, the first half of the first episode was full of swimming scenes and a lot, I MEAN A LOT, of staring at each other moments, that could lasts for minutes, of course there is no conversation or anything during those scenes.
However, I really admire the tails and fins, they looked very realistic, also some scenes in the sea was great, the story could be better with some acting improvement from the cast but it's generally not a bad series.

That was so slow, barely any type of conversation between cast, and if existed it's probably random stuff, I could sense some emotions here and there but it all feels so meh!
I probably don't fit the category of the targeted audience here because I don't think I like it ...
I won't recommend it either tbh, I've seen my fair share of slow healing BLs and dramas in general but this failed to keep my attention to it so, it's a big no from me.
However, I can understand if some people find it appealing, I guess it's just not for everyone, so me not liking it isn't because it's badly done, but because to me there was no story worth watching, and acting IMO isn't the best so there is nothing worth suggesting it for~

Not bad but too stretched
İt started off great, and somehow in the middle lost it's charm.İt's a basic arranged marriage (marry first them fall in love) romance, the most common guilty pleasure genre I believe, and they did a good job with it.
But it is full of cliché, too stretched despite being short drama and utterly unrealistic.
I know it's weird to call a drama "unrealistic", a vertical drama nonetheless, but still it was filled of things that was completely weird.
The whole parent thing was unnecessary, if you want to show bad relationship with strict parent it would be weird to show a whole 10 mins of a child scolding his "strict parent" 😂
Also the ML is probably ET, because in my whole life I've never seen such a sensitive and kind guy, who is that selfless and loving towards someone he barely knows, ever!! They don't exist!! The guy cries and shows his vulnerable side openly and does housework and cooking too, if he isn't an ET then he is probably a Unicorn or something ~
Story generally isn't good but I can't really say This is a flaw, I'm probably just too old for the "handsome prince ML on a white horse who'd come and save Cinderella-like FL" though I'm still too young to be this cynical 😂😂
All I'm saying is, this was a good one, and the good acting made it better, except for some scenes the FL was terrible but overall well acted VD.
I would recommend it if you are a teen or a hopeless romantic, or simply love fairytale love stories.
İt's just, not for me~~

Messy story, good everything else
I can't believe I slept on this hidden gem lolI love the cast, TutorYim are cute but acting-wise not the best, Mark is fantastic, still never seen him as a main and I've been a fan of Willi since TTWE.
So I reluctantly started the show, didn't know that it would be one of my favourite guilty pleasures.
I have to say first, I expected messy story and I got exactly that, the whole "let's write a BL" thing and the xianxia novel inside the drama were extremely confusing, I mean, I don't know what happened there but why am I seeing repeated scenes of the xianxia novel 😂 what's going on! Is the editor high, or is it just as random as it appears to be.
But, on the other hands, I giggled a few times, the drama was so smooth, I wasn't bored while watching, the cast is easy on the eye and when it started to be boring they bombed up with NC scenes that got us on the edge of our seats.
Cast was great, I feel a little sorry for Conan, my boy had to sit still and look pretty most of the scenes, and the language barrier didn't help either, I don't know why they had to cast Chinese actors in this , is this because it's originally a Chinese novel?? Well, it doesn't matter, he was still adorable 🥰. The other guy did speak Thai I believe but it wasn't much better ~
Tutor and Yim have improved since middleman, so it wasn't as painful to watch as I expected, maybe just a little bit but it still was more enjoyable than I expected.
The thing that I didn't like but I could tolerate is the slow motion, I mean the cast are moving in X0.25 speed, I mean putting one hand in pocket or raising a glass of water to your mouth would take 2 minutes, I watched the whole thing in X2 speed and I didn't miss a word, that sums it up ~
I have to dedicate a full section in my review for ep 10, I see everyone talking about ep9 ... But helloooo!! Ep 10!!! Mark?? Anyone?? How the F**K did everyone just ignore the 10th episode!! Holy butt!!! I was.. speechless!!.... F**KING MARK SORNTAST BUANGAM!!!!!! Boy!! why aren't you getting any main roles yet FFS!!!!??? Holy mother of squishy asses!! I mean, it was impressive .... The ep I mean *wink*wink* ...
I admit I had to check Gems's age a few times because I panic when I see young actors playing daring roles, and I thought he was too young for NC scenes, fortunately he's old enough, also what made me more nervous is my baby was all smiles for the whole series and he had to CRY RIVERS when he started to make out with Pie, then the great reveal!!! No Sh*t ! I thought i'd be traumatised!!!!!! Then ep 12 came, and I'm definitely traumatised!!! But not for the same reason 😂😂
Now moving on, (yes, please) I think this deserves more recognition because I found it purely by chance, I mean, I thought I would rate it a 5-ish 6 ... Now it's almost 8 ... I call that The Mark effect😂
All in all, it's a fluffy, completely ridiculous, very random, with asses that definitely worth watching, if you're ok with that, give it a go ~

Nice show but with no story
Watch this only if you like the two leads and don't care about anything elseI love Singto and I believe he is an astonishing actor, that is why I started this show despite not being a huge fan of the whole "getting back to your ex" thing. And he didn't disappoint, Kris and Singto carried the whole show, basically because the rest of the cast only appeared scarcely.
So if you like the two leads and enjoy watching them for the sake of watching them, then you will love this.
Aside from that, and after the first few episodes, there is literally nothing going on, just the day to day events of two normal people ( or normal exs) trying to get back together but too proud to admit they still love eachother, so they play cat and mouse, with nothing going on, the series focus is shifted towards everything aside from the show they are making, actually that show is a key part that drives their relationship, not the other way around.
Is it a bad series?? Not really but it has no story, no events, nothing to catch your attention or keep you watching or at least makes you want to reach the end.
So aside from two good leads, this show has nothing to provide ~~

Good but overrated
I have to admit I watched this because of the many edits I've seen for moon baek and because I really love Kim nam gil.Sadly, it falls short to the mark~
Acting was the only good thing about it, KNG and KYK were great in their roles but the drama tried so hard to be so philosophical which made it lose it's charm halfway through it ~
It revolve around a hypothetical scenario when rules and laws fails us, can we obtain justice with our own hands? Kinda like the batman dilemma.
The end is extremely sugar coated, unnecessarily and unrealistically ~

Good and eye opening
This short 48 mins movie had two sides to show. The sweet fairy tale side and the harsh realistic one.
Sadly I couldn't see but the latter, which left a slight bitterness after finishing it.
The good side was how important is it to not judge a book by it's cover, and how someone's act can make him look beautiful even if he is the most ridiculous and lame person ever.
There is a chance you'd love someone if you get to know him and gave yourself the chance to really see behind the outer shell.
That been said, the other side shows most YouTubers in a nutshell, the sad reality of our world now and how it changes from having fun to a warzone where you get to do anything and harm anyone for just a few views, and instead of doing something meaningful you lie, deceive and hurt other people, slowly dehumanising yourself.
And before anyone coming at me I know I shouldn't see too much into things and it's just a movie, but it is still so realistic that it's hard to be cool about it.
However, they choose to end it in the fairytale way making everyone good and having a happy ever after.
I still didn't like the other 2 YouTubers friends even if they were not actually bad, the whole deceiving idea is terrible and in a real life it won't end as lovely as it did.

Fun show
This was a very fun show. The cast was great, the guests were fun and even the introverted ones were great and helpful.
I loved how they didn't force them that much specially during bad weather.
The dynamics and interactions were so much fun, and overall enjoyable.
It's kinda short but you would enjoy the cast cooking and learn how hard it is to gather ingredients for food and be more appreciative.
Highly recommended.

A flower that didn't get to bloom
I can't express how much I loved it, it was very unique and special drama, yet, it didn't feel complete, it felt like a very long preface and stopped right at the first chapter.I have to say first that I haven't read the source material I know the series adapt a part of a whole, but my opinion relies only on the series, so excuse me if I ignore the whole and focus only on the part adapted.
What I liked about this drama despite the slow pace is the way the story is represented, I totally got immersed in it and wanted to see more, and although I mainly started it because it was a BL, I didn't really care about the lack of romance for the most of it, I also felt robbed of the relationship development as it stopped at a very critical point but that didn't deprive the story from it's charm.
Acting was amazing, I can't believe the two leads are actually that old, they fit their ages pretty well, and they did great job, specially the 30YO Liu Dong Qin, despite applying half a bottle of foundation on his beard area and how obvious it looked but I bought that he is 17.
However, what made me anxious toward the end - beside knowing that I won't find a drama as good after finishing it - is that I knew there won't be enough time to show the relationship and the blossoming romance between them.
And that really left me in a pinch, because I don't know if adapting a small part of the source material and stop the drama at this point on the story and depend on having a second season to tie up loose end is a good idea or not, because second season isn't promised and many problems could arise making it difficult to produce a second season, that been said, i also can't imagine changing and of the episodes to include more of the story as I believe it could take away from the beauty of how it's made.
I mean, ep9 is amazing I had so much fun watching it and despite most of it being a filler, I don't wish to change a thing about it.
Overall I love it as it is, slightly hoping that the plan of having a second season would be true and we will get to see more of them, I really want to see those two boys in love.
I really recommend this, it's one of a kind and very perfectly made.
