I saw some screenshots of him and FL's sister (current timeline). Some people seem to ship them.*Raise hand* I…
Yes, I think Meng Ziyi is too thin in this drama, which makes me worry about her health, and it doesn't look good. I hope she can realize this and gain some weight when filming the next drama. If you are not interested in Fangs of Fortune, I also recommend The Glory and Moonlit Reunion, they are very good :-)

I like female lead's sister, they will make a perfect match :-)
Yes, the young general acted recklessly, but his heart is beautiful and his love is sincere. All his expressions are very direct, revealing a clumsiness and cuteness that belongs to first love. I also really enjoy watching his fighting scenes, which can be described as stunning!
The first play I watched by Lai Weiming was "Fangs of Fortune". Although it had some flaws, overall it was very good and had a strong mythological flavor. He played a sick and weak person in it, completely different from the role of the general. He performed it well. I believe he is a gifted actor and will receive more important roles in the future :-)
The melancholic prince Lie is even more beautiful than before :-). I wish he could also find the girl belongs to him. Does anyone like him as I do? P.S. When Huayong showed him the scar on his neck, Lie's ignorant gaze told me he really failed to understand it (unlike his brother) :-)))
There must be something unique about the emperor's genes. All of his sons, including himself, are so obsessed with a woman. However, I enjoy watching these, just like watching a mirrored world where the positions of men and women are reversed :-)
that really made me cry how xin said he would trade his life for his wife and was in the rain so long on his knees…
He failed to love her in the right way, or I would say his love is not healthy. But it IS love. If willing to trade his life for her life is not love, then I don't know what love is. I don't hate him.
What is Cui Jinbai's plan? Bu Shulin is the only child of the Marquis of Shunan. Does he want to become Bu Shulin's marquise? I'm not sure if he can deceive people's eyes by wearing women's clothing? :-)
I had a great time watching this episode today. Xihe's dad is so cute! In fact all men in her family are so cute. Huayong is sensitive, he has noticed his girl's wavering. Xihe is not a heartless person, she is just very rational and good at restraining herself. The second couple has completely captured my heart. Their story was very humorous in the first half, but now it has taken on a tragic tone. I can understand Bu Shulin's concerns very well, but they were so sweet when they were together.
Additionally, an interesting fact is, He Yu comes exactly from the northwest of China, so when Xihe's father called him "Northwest Wolf", I couldn't help but smile :-)
I think I understand where she's coming from and why she is who she is. The story is so far so good for me.
Thank you for providing such a detailed answer. I was wondering if this question was a bit inappropriate before :-)
Yes, I don't think Hua Yong's "shamelessness" is derogatory. As he said, the reason why he can say those sweet words so naturally is because they all come from sincerity and love, so they only make me feel cute. He doesn't act that way to other women.
The viewpoint of comparing them to yin and yang is very interesting, and yes this contrast creates a comedic effect. I often can't help but smile while watching (such as that hairpin slowly sliding onto the letter). They unconsciously released humor in their own way. This drama may not be rigorous enough in some details, but it is very successful in character creation and entertainment :-)
Watched again the scene where the male and female leads were in bed and wrestling, it was so sexy! The female lead deliberately hinted that she might take away his crown prince title or kill her future husband, but still failed to scare him. They were such a perfect match!
I LOVE HER! Don't get me wrong I love a shameless ml but she's the true reason I'm hooked. I lover her demeanor…
"I love a shameless ml but she's the true reason I'm hooked" - same same! After the breakup, I love them even more, because the male lead has become so shameless, while the female lead is so clear headed. :-)
