Actually, it's because he's her friend. Despite agreeing to be on the FL's team, he intentionally joined the other…
That guidebook was meant to help the team, and there's nothing unusual about creating or sharing study materials in an academic group. If the guidebook wasn't valuable, the girl wouldn't have gone to such lengths just to get access to it. The fact that she wanted it so badly shows that she knew it would benefit her team.
The other team won because they worked well together, whereas the fl was carrying her team. If the other girl in fl's team had answered more questions correctly and there had been more level-headed opinions within the team, they undoubtedly would've won.
If fl she was confident that she can answer a question, why wouldn't she press the buzzer? That's literally the point of the competition. The other team tried to keep up by doing the same too, but fl was more knowledgeable and confident in her answers.
If they had been on the same team, the dynamic probably would have been completely different. But regardless of the team arrangement, they already had animosity toward the fl long before the competition, and that clearly influenced the way they see her.

Well, the main thing to note here is that it wasn't simply about competing to test his own abilities. They all saw the FL as someone they had to beat.
Being on the same team as the fl wouldn't have stopped them from shining or prevented people from recognizing their own abilities. The audience would still have seen them answering questions and showcasing their skills just like the fl. Instead, they viewed her as a rival they had to defeat to prove they were better than her, or at least on the same level.
That being said, fl is just too good so I can understand their ego.

It's actually so good and I like the plot but something feels like it's missing. I wasn't expecting it to be as dark or intense as Boksoon since this one clearly has more comedic elements, but it still lacks something. I'm not sure if it's the script, the directing, or some of the characters performance.
Maybe the balance in the storyline wasn't handled well enough, because I'm just not feeling the intensity I was hoping for but regardless this is still good and I can't wait to see how this goes.

She should never have gone back to him. Yeah, she's not perfect either but the husband was still the worst character here.
Tbh, it feels like the mistress came out ahead. She kinda improved her life because of him and eventually walked away from the mess. Meanwhile, the wife went back to the very man who humiliated, betrayed, and repeatedly hurt her.

The actors did an amazing job bringing these characters to life, and Monica remains the biggest victim out of this story.

I checked the YouTube comments, and I saw a lot of people blaming Monica for trusting Nicole around her husband. While I understand where they're coming from, I don't completely agree. Adrian was the one who made the decision to cheat. If it hadn't been Nicole, it could have been a colleague at work, a neighbour, or someone else entirely. A loyal man doesn't cheat because another woman is available, he cheats because he chooses to. Nicole is guilty of betraying her friend, but Adrian is equally responsible because he was the one who made vows to Monica.

From the very beginning, Adrian was portrayed as a flirt, so I wasn't surprised that he eventually cheated. Despite everything he and Monica went through to be together, he still chose to betray her and destroy the beautiful family they had built. That's what makes his actions even more heartbreaking. He had something many people dream of, yet he threw it away for temporary gratification.

That's what makes Monica's story so heartbreaking. She fought so hard to be with Adrian, loved him sincerely, trusted him completely, and built a beautiful family with him. Yet the two people she trusted the most; her husband and her best friend, became the very people who betrayed her. Betrayal is always painful, but it hurts differently when it comes from the people you would never think could hurt you.

Now, should Monica have trusted Nicole that much? Maybe not. Sadly, life has shown us that not everyone who smiles with you genuinely wants the best for you. There are countless real-life stories of best friends secretly wanting their friend's partner. That's why people often say, "Protect your relationship." However, I also think it's unfair to blame Monica for simply believing in someone she had loved and trusted for years. Healthy friendships are built on trust. If you constantly have to monitor your friend around your partner, then either the friendship or the relationship is already broken.

What I really liked about the drama was that it didn't make Nicole a one-dimensional villain. It allowed us to understand how she became that person without asking us to excuse her actions.
Nicole's relationship with Max explained a lot about her emotional state. She loved him wholeheartedly, but he never truly loved her back because he was still emotionally attached to his ex. She kept hoping that if she loved him enough, sacrificed enough, or waited long enough, he would eventually choose her. She even begged him to stay with her. Imagine giving someone your whole heart while knowing you're never really their first choice. That kind of rejection can deeply damage someone's self-worth if they don't heal properly.

The problem is that Nicole never healed after Max. Instead of rebuilding her confidence and learning that she deserved someone who genuinely chose her, she carried that pain into her next phase. This happens in real life all the time. Someone gets heartbroken, gets into another relationship, and unknowingly carries their insecurities with them while they cling onto the same thing that should've served as a lesson from the past relationship. Instead of choosing healthier partners, they become attracted to emotionally unavailable people because that's the kind of love they've become used to.

Unhealed people often repeat the same cycles without realizing it. They ignore obvious warning signs because they're chasing the feeling of finally being "chosen." They become so afraid of being abandoned again that they hold onto relationships long after they should have walked away. Sometimes they confuse obsession with love.

That's exactly what happened with Adrian. She became emotionally attached to him far more than she should have. Even after finding out he was married to her best friend, she couldn't stop herself. At some point, it wasn't even just about Adrian anymore. It became about proving to herself that this time she wouldn't lose like she did with Max. She wanted to be chosen at all costs.

This is something many people experience. When someone has been rejected repeatedly, they may become addicted to validation. They don't necessarily want the person because they're good for them, they want the satisfaction of finally hearing someone say, "I choose you." Unfortunately, when your self-worth depends on another person's validation, you'll often ignore your own morals and boundaries to get it.

That's also why healing after heartbreak is so important. Healing isn't just about crying until the pain goes away. It's about understanding why you accepted less than you deserved, recognizing unhealthy patterns, and making sure you don't repeat them. If you skip that process, you risk attracting the same type of people over and over again because your standards haven't changed.

I also don't understand why some mistresses genuinely believe a cheating man will eventually leave his wife or long-term girlfriend and suddenly become loyal to them. Even if he does leave, what exactly have they won? A man who has already shown that he's capable of lying, sneaking around, and betraying someone he once claimed to love.
The relationship will almost always be built on insecurity. Every late-night phone call becomes suspicious. Every female colleague becomes a threat. Every unexplained absence raises questions. If he cheated with you, you'll constantly wonder if he's cheating on you too. That's not peace, that's anxiety.

They often think they're different or an exception. They tell themselves, "He cheated because his wife didn't understand him," or "He loves me more." But that's usually how affairs begin. A cheater often tells each woman exactly what she wants to hear. Once the excitement fades, the same behaviour usually repeats itself because the problem wasn't the previous partner but his character.

You can't keep a cheating partner by loving them harder. You can be the most beautiful, supportive, respectful, patient, and submissive partner in the world, but someone who lacks integrity will still cheat if that's who they are. Faithfulness is a personal value, not a reward for having a perfect partner.

Nicole's childhood also played a huge role in shaping her. Losing her mother and growing up knowing her biological father had another family likely created deep abandonment wounds. Children who grow up feeling unwanted or replaced sometimes develop an intense fear of being abandoned again as adults. That fear can make them cling to unhealthy relationships because losing another person feels unbearable.

However, trauma explains behaviour, it doesn't excuse it. Monica had also faced hardships, yet she didn't betray the people she loved. We are all responsible for what we do with our pain. Some people heal from it, while others allow it to become an excuse for hurting innocent people.

One quote I always believe is, "Experience is the best teacher, but don't let it teach you the same lesson twice."
Nicole already knew what it felt like to be someone's second choice because of Max. That experience should have helped her recognize the warning signs with Adrian. Instead, because she never truly healed, she repeated the exact same pattern. The difference was that this time she wasn't just hurting herself but she destroyed her friendship, contributed to breaking a family apart, and became the very kind of woman she would have hated if the roles were reversed.

In the end, everyone lost. Monica lost the husband and best friend she trusted most. Adrian lost the respect of the people who loved him and destroyed his own family through selfish choices. Nicole lost her dignity, her friendship, and ultimately the man she sacrificed everything for.

To me, that's the biggest lesson of the drama: unresolved trauma doesn't stay hidden, it eventually affects everyone around you. Healing isn't just for your own peace; it's also to stop your pain from becoming someone else's.

Monica did try to fight for her marriage, and I understand why. When you've invested so much time, love, and effort into building a life with someone, walking away isn't an easy decision. Most people would want to save their family before giving up.
However, I think she ultimately made the right choice by leaving eventually (even though they made it an open ending for any possibility of reconciliation). But it's better to walk away than to keep fighting for a man who has already broken your trust. Trust is the foundation of any healthy marriage, and once it's shattered, rebuilding it takes years of consistent efforts and even then, some wounds never fully heal.

The situation became even more complicated because the affair resulted in a child. That means Monica would be reminded of the betrayal for the rest of her life. Every co-parenting interaction, every family event involving the child, and every reminder of the affair could reopen old wounds. While the child is completely innocent and deserves love and care, the circumstances surrounding his birth would understandably make healing much more difficult for Monica.
Staying in a marriage after infidelity isn't wrong if both people are genuinely committed to rebuilding it, but forgiveness doesn't always mean reconciliation. Sometimes, choosing to leave is the healthier option. Walking away doesn't mean Monica loved Adrian any less, it means she finally chose to love and respect herself enough not to remain in a marriage where the trust had been destroyed.

At the end of the day, no one should have to beg for loyalty or compete for a place in their own marriage. A partner who truly values and respects you wouldn't put you in that position in the first place. Sometimes, the strongest thing you can do is walk away with your dignity and choose peace over a lifetime of pain and uncertainty.

Title Stay with Me
They loved each other deeply, and their feelings were completely mutual. The love, effort, and commitment were never one-sided, which is why they were able to overcome every challenge that came their way.

At one point, the girl believed she was the only one holding the relationship together, so she decided to end things. But the guy proved through both his actions and his words that he loved her just as deeply and had no intention of letting her go. Their willingness to communicate, fight for each other, and meet halfway made all the difference.

Their relationship felt incredibly realistic, which made it even more beautiful to watch. Sadly, not many long-distance relationships in real life are able to survive for that long. It takes unwavering trust, patience, consistent effort, and two people who are equally committed to making it work. That's what made their love story so special.

I really wish we had gotten to see their wedding at the end. It would've been the perfect conclusion to their journey and made the ending even more special.

amazing show only up until the truth about the driver and his wife got revealed. then it became almost a whole…
Even though we met the leads first but their revenge set the entire chain of events in motion, it makes sense that the story focused heavily on them. After all, they were the reason the time loop existed in the first place.

2FL is annoying, but her actions except kneeling down is understandable. She was in a relationship for 7 yrs and had invested so much emotionally and financially. Walking away from something you've poured that much into isn't easy.
That's why it's so important to trust your instincts and pay attention to red flags early on. She was buying him a house, furnishing it, and making huge sacrifices, yet he wasn't planning to marry her.
Sometimes, the biggest lesson is knowing when to stop investing in someone who isn't investing in you the same way.

I wish he had defended his daughter. Nothing hurts more than realizing that the one person you trusted and relied on the most couldn't defend you or believe you. I understand the reasons behind him choosing to stay quiet and keep a low profile, but he should have considered his daughter's feelings in that situation.

Title Oh My Venus
I still can't understand why the writer expects viewers to sympathize with the second leads.
The sml is a cheater who betrayed his gf of 15 years and then broke up with her, while the sfl is the fl's former best friend who held onto a grudge over a misunderstanding and eventually stole fl's boyfriend. To make matters worse, the drama tries to justify their actions through flashbacks, showing that the best friend had liked him for years and implying that he may have had feelings for her as well.

What the writer failed to realize is that these flashbacks only make the situation worse. The drama itself highlights that one of the main reasons the ex was attracted to the fl in the first place was because she was pretty and slim. The moment she gained weight and no longer fit his ideal type, he lost interest and ended the relationship. Ironically, he later chose the sfl when she became slim and attractive by his standards. If he truly loved sfl for who she was, he would have pursued her years ago.

It's good that sfl knows she's a second option though, she stole a trash ex and failed miserably in making fl unhappy like she wanted. We know someone like her will always be insecure in that relationship.
No amount of flashbacks, excuses, or sob story can erase the fact that the second leads are cheaters. The writer spends so much time trying to make them look sympathetic that it feels like the audience is being asked to ignore their actions. Unfortunately, it doesn't work.

They're simply unlikeable characters and the story keeps trying to justify their behavior. I don't hate them because they're flawed; I dislike them because the drama refuses to acknowledge how hurtful and despicable their actions actually were.
I love the male leads but just couldn't love this drama completely because of the second leads.

I read somewhere that the director already said no romance but I think she will obviously have feelings for him. I guess they will just make a good duo like the leads in one dollar lawyer and leave it as that

The sml should’ve fired the sfl a long time ago since he was never interested in her romantically. Keeping her as his assistant despite her constantly forcing herself on him probably fueled her obsession even more. Someone like her would take that as a sign that she still has a chance, especially when he keeps tolerating behavior that clearly crosses boundaries.
When a person is already emotionally attached and delusional, any form of leniency or continued closeness can easily be misinterpreted as hidden feelings or hope.

Exactly, but I think they do this to make it more memorable and get viewers talking about it, especially if there might be a second season or not. I’ve noticed the same pattern with Pyramid Game and Night Has Come too.
There are still unanswered questions, like what caused the sister to become trapped in the house, her husband now having spiritual sight, and how he will help her like he said. Nari is also still part of the story, and she may be connected to the continuation of the curse.

Yeah, dramas back then often added unnecessary plotlines just to create extra drama or stretch the story. The same thing happened in Bride of the Century, where they added a ghost storyline that felt completely unnecessary and not needed at all because the drama could've just been fine without that.

Title Strobe Edge
This may be a drama, but in real life, that kind of situation is both strange and unwise. Never put yourself in a position where you’re confessing your feelings to someone who is already in a relationship. Don't fall deeply for someone you aren't even dating. It only creates unnecessary complications and emotional stress for you.
Also, don’t place yourself in situations where you might end up being someone’s second option. You deserve respect and to be chosen fully, not kept as a backup plan or an option when things don’t work out for them.
If someone is already in a relationship, respect that boundary and step back. Chasing them not only disrespects their relationship but can also diminish your own self-worth. Protect your dignity and emotional well-being by focusing on people who are available, honest, and genuinely interested in you.
You shouldn’t have to compete for someone’s attention or affection. If it’s right, it will be reciprocated without confusion or games.
