Here's a rational response 😄 I think it is becoming dated anyway... Why do writers think a kiss is the only way to build chemistry! This kind of forced touch without developing tension doesn't work at all. Lazy writing!

That's the one! I might start rewatching it while waiting for new episodes! It didn't have stellar sizzling chemistry but the time travel arc and emotional characterization of the CP was extremely compelling!
