I just kept watching because I couldn’t take my eyes off ML’s face 😭❤️

…I mean, they’re always talking about weddings – why on earth didn’t they just have one themselves! They could have organised an informal celebration or gone abroad, anything! That would have been the most perfect ending ever 🥲

Chinese BLs are and always will be my absolute favorites! I don’t like lighthearted, boring plots—the world is full of suffering and pain, and that’s exactly why this was right up my alley. Overall, a great series.

Some pros and cons:
I thought the lead actors were fantastic, especially Ayden Sng—he did a great job! I didn’t like the younger brother, though. Somehow, in my opinion, he was just unlikable overall.
The last few episodes felt a bit rushed to me, which is a shame. And I was particularly unhappy with the ending… (see spoiler below)

But all in all, I will definitely rewatch it in the future ❤️

I liked the theme (BL fangirl!!), the characters and the humor. I would have liked a bit more romance, though (not necessarily between a student and a teacher, but I would have been happy with anything). Also, the ending fell a bit too short for my taste and it would also have been nice if the series had used the opportunity to make gay love a bit less taboo in South Korea. But it’s definitely enough that they mention it in this way, because the message is: lots of people don’t mind it at all. ❤️

All in all, it was a nice, fun watch

It wouldn’t have hurt if she had mourned her husband’s death more (just one thing that irked me till the end (and especially after watching the ending scene))

…ok. I was really impressed by the first episode because both actors did a good job and the plot seemed interesting. But then the story somehow became superficial and rushed as the series went on, AND those weird, totally fake kisses ruined the rest. What a shame – I think it could have had so much more potential.. 🙁

Well, I’ll keep an eye on how it ends. If your prediction turns out to be right, I’ll definitely watch it (I’ve seen a trailer, and the two of them certainly seem like very interesting characters). But I prefer to steer clear of sad endings, so I’ll have to wait and see how it all turns out...(and I feel like it’s 80 - 20 in favor of a bad end, I mean: terminal illness 🥲)

Aaaahhhh, I always come back to this whenever other BL series let me down. It’s still a masterpiece, still one of the best on-screen chemistry pairings of all time – I just absolutely love this series 😌❤️❤️❤️

...seriously, I asked the AI (Gemini) if this series has a happy ending, and that bloody stupid thing lied to me like there’s no tomorrow (the only reason I started watching the series in the first place!). Another Terminal Illness - is that supposed to be a joke? Haven’t we finally moved on from the ‘in gay series, at least one of the two always dies’ trope? 😤😥😖

For me, the first episode was a total letdown, but I decided to give the series a chance anyway—and man, that was a pretty good decision! It totally sucked me in, and the finale was really well done!
I hope there’s a second season soon ❤️

A few side notes/personal thoughts :
Cha Eun Woo is so hot 🥵❤️
And I’m sad about Kim Pal Ho; I had hoped they’d all have a different fate… 🙁

I believe this isn't everyone's cup of tea, but since I'm a fan of old-school BL, I absolutely loved it! It reminds me of the old yaoi mangas, and there's even a beautiful kiss (sadly, kinda rare for a lot of Japanese Bl’s)—that's all I need. It's exactly my thing (and the actors are fantastic…! (And the shower scenes are a nice treat 😉) 😍❤️
