Oh no, I was afraid that would happen... I'm currently on episode 20 and annoyed by the current plot (in my opinion, FL's behavior makes no sense at all: one moment she fears he is dead, then she learns that he is in critical condition, but the next moment she texts him and wants him to reply. And then she travels to another country to live with someone she knows is alive... Not to mention that he was half dead, then two days later he's standing in front of her, and then suddenly he's disabled and needs a wheelchair, excuse me???) But I knew this would be the start of an all-too-often-used plot, and I feared it would end up as you hinted :/
Nonetheless, I liked it so far and I hope they won’t ruined the whole story with the last episodes 😣
Dang, I really like it so far, but these cuts are driving me crazy! Like in episode 15 on the bed, how can they just abruptly make a cut like that? I need to know (and see 😜) more, dang it, you can't just make a weird cut and skip everything that happened after that! Did I miss something, or did they just cut out an entire scene (New Year's Eve) because a) the episode was too long, or b) no one wanted to see beautiful lips where they don't belong 😜 I'm a little torn because every minute of it is so precious, but I probably wouldn't survive if I saw it in real life...

Seriously, Chinese series are something else, this is a masterpiece and easily deserves a 10/10. But please, BL God, have mercy with our poor souls and let them quickly release a special episode in which they live happily ever after, I mean they can’t just leave us hanging like that, just noooo 😭😭😭😭😭

Okay, I haven't seen “Khemjira” yet (I wanted to find out everything about it first), but when I just saw the poster for the sequel, I was so motivated to see it. Like NOW! lol

It was also a total rollercoaster of emotions, the shift from hot to cold gave me whiplash 😅
Overall, it was pretty good, even if the story could have been a bit smoother without those 180-degree twists, but okay. I especially liked how intense Jeong Han was (it's just a shame that the tension from the first few episodes was lost a bit later on... I was hoping for a little more, and it would have been nice to see a slightly longer ending with a few more details about how things will continue in the future and/or about the discussion between son and father).
