You know, if they ever decide to make a South Korean version of One Piece they definitely should cast Park Bo Gum as Monkey D. Luffy. His (grinning) face and expressions remind me so much of him, and I just can’t see it often enough 😍❤️
At first, I was a little skeptical because ML had recently been involved in plots that ended rather badly, but this one was definitely worth watching! At first he played the bad boy tattoo artist with his dashing hairstyle, which was the best part imo 🥵😋 I'm just a little sad that they changed his outfit/style later on, but as always, male leads in Chinese dramas have to end up being a hero/good guy/rich/soldier or whatever 😩🤷♂️
Anyway, it was a very nice drama. There were a few plot holes here and there, but who cares, both lead actors did a great job and ML is always worth watching 🔥❤️
I really, really liked it, but that was mainly because I liked the FL and was cheering for her to accomplish her…
Thanks for the warning. I really love jdramas but as much as I love them, I absolutely hate the stupid breakup for work trope (and they just can’t stop using it 😫) and just reading about the way they use it makes me angry, so sadly, I will skip this watch (to keep my inner peace lol)
In my opinion, the storyline is pretty chaotic. In one scene, they're standing on a balcony holding hands, then the camera suddenly cuts to another couple having sex (we've never seen them together before???), and then back to the main characters standing in a boxing ring kissing. So to me, it sometimes feels like a string of random scenes. And I don't even want to get started on the plot... One of the main characters has debts and uses the other to pay them off. I mean, he doesn't even know the guy at first and just says, “Yeah, he'll fight in the ring, give me 20% of the winnings.” That doesn't make any sense. If the world worked like that, I'd be the richest person in the world 😑
I don't know... I'm currently on episode 4, but I'm finding it quite difficult to continue watching. Let's see if I finish it or not (and please keep in mind, that’s just my own personal opinion).
You only found 2 episodes because… surprise! Only 2 have been released so far 🤭 lol. Here’s the very mysterious…
OH🤦♂️ lol I thought I found it on an already completed bl’s list, therefore I didn’t notice the actual release date 😅 thanks for clearing that up for me 🫶
Hm, I only found 2 eps so I can’t really rate it yet. All I can say is: ep 1 starts a bit awkward and ep 2 gets a little confusing at first (because they start filming a movie or something and the lines between movie and “reality” get a bit blurred…) also, I’m not exactly sure where this is going to go. Would’ve loved to see all eps to maybe get the whole point of this show 😅
Plot : “FL gets adopted by her uncle” - trope (and falls in love with him)It’s one of the versions in which…
Ending is… well…. 🤦♂️
After treating FL badly and denying her his love for 99% of the drama which leads to FL leaving him, in the end you see FL coming back (young and fresh as always) to an oooooold white haired, ill and whatever man. She marries him and he dies. I mean look, I can’t even write that in a nice way, it’s literally not possible because that end is just: 🤦♂️(imo)
