Loved the ending, but I could totally do with one more ep (watching them being happy and/or jealous and/or having a good time (and/or se** time π) together πβ€οΈ
(By the way, I remember reading the manga a long time ago and they both played their roles on point, that was amazing!! But especially Wada Masanari totally caught my interest with his acting)
Okay, now for my review after watching the entire series:The last two episodes were a bit disappointing for me...…
Apparently, the brain tumor was only added in the series. In the novel, there were other conflicts, but ML was perfectly healthy and not on the verge of death. Honestly, I would have preferred them to stick to the novel; I would have liked that much better. I'm not a big fan of unnecessary overdramatization. π«€
I watched it all in one go, it was great! The first episode grabbed me right away, so many emotions and new twists everywhere, it was so refreshing!πβ€οΈ
I love Japanese BL series because they always reach a deeper level. Even though I'm a little disappointed that after βTaikan Yohoβ there are too many setbacks in the intimacy scenes (no deep kisses, only very limited physical contact...), I can once again overlook this in favor of the narrative and emotional depth. But nonetheless I still keep wishing for more progression in intimacy scenes.
But anyway, loved the series and will definitely come back to rewatch in the future β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ
It feels like a one-man show (or rather a one-Pond show)... His acting performance is great, but everything else falls short? I mean, Peterpan has only one facial expression for 75% of the show, and the plot has significant gaps in my opinion.
Overall, I don't understand the hype, but okay, everyone has their own opinion π€·ββοΈ
(BUT I would totally watch a spin-off of Janine and Veynai, they kind of made my day)
I really liked her in Glass heart, her smile while playing the drums carried all the emotions necessary, great performance! πππ I hope she gets more main roles in the future
I came for Satoh Takeru's devilish grin and stayed for Miyazaki Yu's sweet smile. π
Okay, now for my review after watching the entire series: The last two episodes were a bit disappointing for me... One thing that really made me sad was that the brother wasn't really part of the series anymore. He appeared quite often at the beginning (and totally grew on me), but in the last part, which dealt with the spoiler about ML, he wasn't allowed to say anything, even though they're brothers? I just found that disappointing.
I don't know the novel, but given the diagnosis, I wonder if this is really a happy ending, as so many say. I mean, in real life... let's not talk about sad things π π«£ (feel free to spoiler me if thereβs more info in the novel, please)
All in all, I stand by what I said above: I came for the handsome devil (even though I don't like the roles he plays... but at least I like this one a better than the last one) and honestly stayed for the good music and especially for FL! Her smile/happy face was great, she played her passion for music so well ππππ«Ά
Nice drama... but... what about the elephant in the room? I mean, they couldn't mention often enough that vampires shouldn't fall in love with humans. So it would have been more than nice if they had picked up on this at the end and brought it to a conclusion. π
I'm usually a big fan of JP BL, but this one just doesn't appeal to me. In the comments, people say that the first part of it is the stronger one, but I'm halfway through now and can't really say that I found it strong.
My main problem is probably that I personally don't feel any chemistry between the main characters, not even a little bit. Maybe it gets better later on but itβs hard for me to keep watching. (Also, right now I just feel like one of them is only interested in the other because they're both gay, nothing more nothing less).
Like I said, this is just my personal opinion, so please don't be offended if you have a different view. But while Old fashion cupcake is my absolute favorite series, this one wonβt even make it on my BL list..
Wohoo! I just finished watching this season and thought it was great from start to finish!! Hopefully they'll produce a few more seasons, I really can't get enough of it β€οΈπβ€οΈ
After watching crime 3 + 4, I can only repeat myself: I really really enjoy watching this series! I wish it would go on forever πβ€οΈ (love the actors, the guest stars and the plots β€οΈβ€οΈ)
hi! i've watched up to episode 4 and there is very-little-to-none requirement to watch the previous season. there…
Hi! I wasn't familiar with the series before, so I started with this season and I really like it and have a lot of fun!! BUT I have a feeling that after watching it, I'll watch the other seasons too, because I'm having so much fun watching this one.
Best main couple of all times πβ€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ

For a quick BL fix, it's definitely worth it!
(And the tall guy is so damn handsome.. it was a feast for the eyes πβ€οΈ)
