Spoil me please: Happy end??

Seeing the comments, this will probably be an unpopular opinion but I liked the movie far better than the series.

The main reason: the heartache, suffering and especially the injustice is limited to a bearable minimum. I’m still emotionally scarred from the series and it’s literally years since I saw it…
So this movie was pretty nice, likable and kind of healing for my soul.

I think they did a great job, actors are superb, production quality is high and in my eyes, the story made enough sense for everyone to get it. My only critique is about the ending, cause it was way too short.. (would have liked to see some more hot kissing scenes between those fabulous main leads 😜 )

2. …This is one of those “I only hurt you for your own good” kind of storylines. And overall, it’s weird. I mean,ML hurts FL countless times and FL does her share too…but how is stabbing her (even without killing intend) without telling her anything about his plans beforehand in any way reasonable??? So let’s just say it’s kind of a twisted love 😅 BUT generally, the plot IS interesting.

I’m totally in love with ML and his serious character…BUT what the heck, the story is dragging as hell.. I’m not even halfway through (ep 15) and it costs me so much effort to keep watching 🥲

🛑By the way:
Normally I don’t care about love triangles, but this one got one of the most annoying ever.

First impression: Yay, gender role reversal!
Second impression: Nay, same old sh*t. I mean, how many times can you have female characters say "I'm dumb" for the audience to realize it's not really a role reversal? (Seriously, it’s their favorite line for female roles in this drama -_- )

So in short: if you’re here for gender role reversal, better leave quickly. It’s the same “ML is the superb hero and FL is the dumb damsel in distress” as usual.
Plus, the storyline is the biggest mess I’ve ever seen.. it’s pretty exhausting to keep up with what’s actually happening, the plot holes are miles wide X_X

If you’re here for Yuan Hao / the ML, stay, his smiles are perfect lol
But I’d recommend his other drama (The Romance of Hua Rong) over this one

I don't know why so many people are complaining about the open ending, I mean, this show isn't called Happy Ending for nothing (it's not that hard to imagine who walks through the door, or is it?)😅

But it’s a real pity, that it’s only so short 🥲

They get married in the last (!!) episode.
Overall, there is no real development between the two. Yes, they kiss (innocently) a few times, but as often as they kiss, they break up.

I still don’t get how this ended up in a facial cream competition. This is the weirdest progress I’ve ever seen in a drama 😅🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️

As many said before, the beginning was interesting, the middle was unnecessary long, the end was… well….
And romance-wise, the whole drama is an absolute tease (if you want to know more, see spoiler below)

Im currently on ep 3 and this drama is just confusing. Up until now I have no clue what the actual plot is supposed to be about. All I could tell about the story right now is: There’s a ML and a FL and they keep randomly meeting. Not very interesting at all. Not sure if it’s worth to continue watching. (I came for the ML, but his role is not catching either 😕)

Ok… coming directly from season 1 I currently can’t take the same opinion of the majority in here. Right now (up to ep 4) I very much prefer season 1. maybe that will change in a while, but let me say this: The beginning of season 2 is a mess. The story and timelines are too much..

Plus, I think I need to hold season 2 for a while, cause coming here directly after season 1 feels frustrating (mainly because everything repeats itself.. that’s annoying) BUT the love from ML stays the same, therefore I will try and continue watching after putting the drama on hold for a while.

I wouldn’t even call it a true love triangle. The person FL shares a body with is pretty timid and proper. She wanted to end her live cause her love got married, she’s more sad about it than anything else. And the ‚true‘ FL is only interested in ML and nobody else. There are a few misunderstandings on MLs part, but nothing more.

They are spies, and he knew it, therefore he kind of needed/was forced to marry them but never interacted with them in any kind of way.

Wow, this is so good! At first I thought it was a bit weird and had a cheap production but I got invested pretty fast. My only critique is the annoying voice of FL 😵 Oh and the ugly wig of ML in the last scene..🤦‍♂️(guess production WAS cheap.. or they spent all the money on the cast ❤️ )

Pros:
+ Writers did a great job in creating a unique storyline
+ It remains exciting throughout the drama
+ ML is awesome all around ❤️ (romance is pretty good ❤️ kisses are nice)
+ MLs big brother is handsome as hell (he’s great, already known from many other dramas)

Can’t wait to see the next part ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

It felt like there was some weird censorship going on, with the weird cuts and the suddenly plopping up girl for older bro in the last minute. I mean there definitely was bl related context between the older bro and sml, so I believe beside the cuts between the mains, they had to introduce an extra role. What a pity. This drama sure had potential

Obviously, the majority seemed to like season 2 more, but for me it’s the other way around. I don’t know why, but I prefer season 1. Maybe because I liked the ML far more…?🤔
