Please help! I could only watch 2 eps (with decent subs) so far and can’t find any more.. but the two eps were awesome and now I really wanna know a few things about the storyline. Could you please help me find answers to the following questions..? 😭🙏
1. Are they really twins? Or is it the same person? 2. If they are twins, with whom did the FL end up with? 3. Is there a happy end? 4. Can you tell me a bit about the ending?
Ok it’s like this: After watching the first 10 eps I wondered why the rating was so low. The idea was refreshing, their dynamic was awesome, and SML and ML were friends. But then? It went rapidly downhill and the typical annoying tropes started. And in the worst way possible.
For example: - they don’t just use one obsessed crazy SML, no, they add a crazy obsessed SFL as well. And cause this isn’t enough, you get a crazy obsessed King on top... (FL is like honey for bees..🤦♂️) - And the worst: after watching don’t know how many eps of this, when you finally think it’s over, they got over this ridiculous trope, it just starts a new! Seriously????
Did they terminate the contracts of the writers of the first 10 eps or what happened? I never felt so frustrated while watching a drama. I feel like it’s the greatest loss, cause as I said, the drama had so much potential..
I'm on episode 17 and I'm starting to get a little annoyed.... I mean, how many times can you stab or shoot ML in the heart area without him dying? That's just ridiculous...
Normally I don't often remember female leads, but being here, it's clear that it was different with her. Her beauty is remarkable and I love her acting! Can’t wait to watch In Blossom after it’s done airing ❤️
This drama is weirdly endearing. While it includes many annoying cliches (in case of used tropes, this doesn’t feel like a 22 ep drama, more like a 60 ep one, believe me) it also does so much right!
Pros: + FL is cunning and smarter than in other dramas + ML and FL are deeply devoted to eachother + A good and lovely relationship between ML and his brother + A warm and nice grandfather (of FL) + You won’t believe it, but a rational and kind of nice king!!!! + Boldness in case of sexuality (believe me, it’s shockingly bold for this kind of historical drama!) + Many hot Kissens (their chemistry is 🔥🔥🔥) + Kudos especially to ML, I love his serious character
And ok, for all the cliches happening, at least the mains talk it out (even though it’s afterwards..but well, can’t have anything lol)
What about getting appendicitis and not recognizing it until the other lead comes and helps them?
lol you are right, that’s definitely a classic kdrama trope, thanks for suggesting! I think I thought too much about cdramas, and therefore forgot most of the kdrama ones. Your suggestion also reminded me of the classic “I have to use the toilet” trope lol In the future, I’ll do another one more focused on kdramas ❤️ (more suggestions are welcome)
As I watch more and more Chinese dramas I'm so glad I don't take the negative reviews as gospel. I loved this…
Can you please spoil me: what did ml do with the brothel girl? Did he seriously cheat on fl???? I’m up to ep 10 right now and started to love this drama so much, but reading your comment made me kind of frightened for future episodes 😭
I’m not crying, you are 😭😭😭😭 This is a wonderful movie, but the ending… I want to see more of them together, the ending fell far too short, my heart needs more time for healing 😭
(Darren Wang is a god, he did an amazing job! Fl was great as well…I juste need to see more of them, they made me addicted 😭😭😭 )
I’d summarize this one as follows This is one of the (kind of typical) weird Japanese plots (she’s 18, he’s much older, they get married.. well, this is nothing new for japanese dramas 😅 then, there is a bit more weird plot..) but wham, suddenly in ep 8 everything changes and in ep 10, the actors even learn to act and do show emotions 😂 In fact, ep 10 was pretty good in my opinion, that’s why I gave this drama a pretty high rating lol (Plus, Japanese dramas are always able to be unpredictable 😆)
The absolute craziest thing about this drama (keep in mind it’s a japanese one): there are many kisses and even sexual acts (!!!) 😳😂 I was flabbergasted lol
This is tragic, my heart arches so bad for the younger one. Kudos especially for the actor of the younger one, he did an amazing job portraying emotions 🥲🥲🥲
Uhm.. in the comment section someone talked about a HE, but it doesn’t feel like that to me, did I see the wrong movie or something? I mean nothing got solved.. It’s pretty dark and sad..
And I wouldn’t recommend to watch the kissasia version, there’s a second movie included (the compilation „going south“) which ends up pretty tragic 🥲 the translation was horrible, but storywise it felt like it was a sequel to this one?? And if so, it’s definitely not a HE.
But please feel free to enlighten me if you know more about it.
… I really liked the concept but sadly, in my opinion the execution was lacking. This series got so much potential but just look at the ending.. it somehow felt half hearted and rushed.
Plus, I’m a bit disappointed with Tharn. He believes and chooses the doctor over Phaya? Ouch. For me, it felt like Phaya was much more invested in their love than Tharn.
But that’s just my personal opinion, so please don‘t feel bothered if yours is different.

Japanese dramas and movies are the best ❤️
And after watching it, I want to add that the romance was d*mn cute.. just wish it would’ve gone a bit farther 😔
