Pros: Nice production quality, actor of FL did a great job, pretty interesting storyline over 2/3 of the show
Cons: I’m particularly unhappy with Gens character 1. his behavior doesn't come across as virginal, he's more of a player. The writers seemed to realize this at the end too, because they changed the order of events in episode 7 (from his point of view): the intended kiss was much earlier, but it wouldn't have fit with his thoughts, so they changed it 2. his behavior is daring and brazen. In front of his childhood sweetheart, he has no problem speaking his mind at all, but with FL, he goes mute? Every single time? Unlikely. 3. i don't like that we see FL's character grow constantly throughout the series while ML doesn't change at all. Until the end, it's just FL trying her best and making an effort (I mean, even at the end ML needed a kick from SML...)
And overall, it would have been nice if ML changed his indifferent expression at least once.
Nope, sorry. In my opinion, this is one of the worst short dramas ever. Production quality, acting, plot, cutscenes,.. I suppose it was pretty low budget all over. But kudos for the original idea, I guess..
Things that bother me about a drama: 1. A FL who doesn't believe in ML, accuses him without asking anything, even…
SML changes his personality like his clothes. First he's an artist or whatever, then he's a lovesick follower of FL, then he's the King's brother, then he becomes an evil mastermind and killer, then he becomes stupid (and plans to marry off his childhood sweetheart to someone else in the hopes that the weak woman will be able to do what 100 professional assassins couldn't do before)... I could go on like this, but it gets tiring and I guess you can understand why his character is literally a mess and gives you whiplash 😑🤦♂️
Things that bother me about a drama: 1. A FL who doesn't believe in ML, accuses him without asking anything, even tries to kill him, and then calls him PETTY when he rightfully doesn't jump into her arms immediately after SHE finally realizes the truth. 2. Also, a FL who continuously asks ML if he doesn’t trust her, while she doesn’t have any trust for him at all. 3. And, the worst of all, a FL who obviously doesn’t love ML, seeing how she made him (!) cry two times with no mercy for him at all. She’s truly one of the cruelest, egocentric and annoying FLs ever.
So big critiques: 1.annoying as hell FL. 2. inconsistent SML, who’s behaviors doesn’t make sense at all (see spoiler below) 3. Repetitive plot (how often can one use a divorce plot? Watch the drama and find out, I bet it’s more often than you thought-_-)
The biggest Pro: ML. I love him, he’s the f*cking best, loyal till the end.. no seriously, his character is very well written and the actor portrayed him perfectly ❤️ He makes up for the FL from hell..honestly, I wish this drama wouldn’t have a FL…I’d have enjoyed it far more without her.
i found your comment funny, but i think you kinda missed the part where the seoul represented is an dystopian…
This may be true but it’s not a sufficient explanation. 1. The crime rate is high, you’re surrounded by crime but GaOn is on the ‘right’ crime scene every time, cause it’s drama magic 2. Seoul is still a big city with many citizens and obviously a functioning high society (owning cars), there’s police forces (later on, camera teams and what else (you even see car parks full of cars) but the streets are empty cause nobody moves more than 5 meters? As I said, not sufficient enough for me. But since it still was just meant as a funny remark on drama logic/magic, I’m glad it made you chuckle
This is one of those shows where viewers are shown that FL and ML are super smart, with superior intelligence, but mysteriously stupid when the writers didn't know how else to solve important parts of the plot. (e.g. they suspect the other every 5 minutes, even though a blind man could see what's really going on) 😑🙄😩
(And this part of the show is a true pity, cause otherwise I enjoyed it so far (up to ep 16))
Production quality is pretty bad. And I don’t get why ML had the worst wig of all in the first ep, the backside of his head (which was shown every 5 minutes) annoyed me to no end 😅
I really liked it, it would have deserved a full lengh drama. I particularily liked the brother's character: he…
I loved the relationship between the brothers. It wasn’t cruel, I felt like it represented a real siblings relationship (competitive, with fights, but no one wants to truly hurt the other ❤️)
I'm sorry whaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?!?!?! HUUUUUUHHHHHHHHHSo did they both not have any of their memories in their 4th…
They still had their memories 1. Hugging between two people who never met before? Not likely 2. She always wished for a stable and peaceful life and choose the villain because she thought he was a scholar who’d open an academy. Prince fulfilled her wish in the 4. life and became one.
+ interesting plot + beautiful costume designs + very likable main and side characters + all around high quality production + and best of all: the cutest romance ❤️
My only critique: It’s far too short, I want to see more 😭😭😭😭 (Oh and the villain is way too over dramatic, but well..can’t have everything)
Not considering actor of ML, dubbing and acting, I will say this:
Personally, I found the plot very exciting and interesting for 2/3 of the drama. But the last 1/3 was too focused on pure political intrigue (as always), which was very, annoying and dragged as hell
I never cared about dubbing before (maybe cause I often couldn’t even recognize it) but he just sounds terrible,…
Yeah, it IS a pity.. plus, it’s not only a shame for the actor, it’s a shame for the drama, as well. I mean in my opinion, the voice they use doesn’t fit the character at all and makes it really hard for me to watch it..
Does Feng Shao Fei do his own voice over in this drama?
I never cared about dubbing before (maybe cause I often couldn’t even recognize it) but he just sounds terrible, I wish they had used someone else for his dubbing 😵

I’d randomly recommend:
- The kodai family (movie)
- 5-ji Kara 9-ji Made (series)
- And especially: “Good Luck!!” (series)
