To answer your previous question, I think Yuehua's brother sacrificed himself to harm Jing Yiming because he was…
He definitely knew he was no match for Yiming (and that Yuehua was no match either). That's what makes his sacrifice even more heartbreaking. He was trying to make amends for not believing her a year ago. Overall, this family is cursed 😭
I love your comments! Let's see what you think about 19 and 20.
Episode 18 Awww, the siblings get to reunite, even if only for a little while. I can’t say I’m surprised to…
To answer your previous question, I think Yuehua's brother sacrificed himself to harm Jing Yiming because he was certain that she would try to kill him. If he hadn't done what appeared like a suicide mission, Yuehua would have lost the fight...
Episode 16Did Ding Zhaohui seriously think that Jing Yiming isn’t suspicious of him, or was he just trying to…
I have something to say about Zhaohui. Remind me when you get to episode 18 😂 I loved the actor who plays Si Ming in POJ and I detest him now. That's some good acting right there!
Zhan Zhao did not recognize Yue Shi / Ding Yue Hua over the span of the first six episodes. Did she go undercover…
I'm not sure if the Hanshui palace is one of the sects. It's like an individual thing. But yes, everything she does is related to what happened in the past.
I’m think the plague was that other poison used to get rid of Bai Yu Tangs’s brother and Ling Long’s aunt.
Oh, that makes sense too. Maybe the plague was an accident and BYT's brother was patient zero who spread it to the guards because of his open wounds. And then Jin dude saw an opening to create a powerful weapon along with the antitode.

Me too. I think that Jin guy spread the poison to come out as the hero with the medicine and become the head of the family. BYT's brother must have figured something out, that's why they framed him and poisoned him.
I'm a little behind, only on episode 13 right now, but I wonder if Zhan Zhao isn't actually aware that he's interacting…
There was a discussion about this earlier on. I think we concluded that he hasn't seen her for quite some time. When ZZ asked about her, her brother said that she was sick, and because she has now grown into a woman, it's inappropriate for him to visit her chambers. So based on that, it's possible that she has changed a lot since the last time he actually saw her. But I think your questions will be answered in the following episodes...
It looks like it... I hope she can return in the end for a bit but everyone is saying her role is over.
I tried not to be invested because I read before that her role would be limited, so I wasn't expecting much. Let's hope they surprise us in the end and bring her back for a scene or so
I just watched episode 14, and Ding Yue's gaze at Zhan Zhao is so beautiful, so intense; I would love to see them…
She has very expressive eyes! She is ZZ's original wife in the novel but I don't think there will be romance between them. She seems more like a tragic figure on a revenge path. I would also like to see them together but...
Who do you think Zhan Zhao cares more about & has more chemistry with: Huo Ling Long or Zhang Yue Shi
I'm actually very confused 😅 So far, it feels like LL has a slight crush on him but I don't see something clear on his side. He certainly cares about her but I don't know if there's more than that. It felt like he had more chemistry with DYH, especially with those prolonged glances, but now everyone is saying she called him step-brother or something to Grandma. I honestly think that the writers are playing with us and there will be no romance whatsoever, as everyone kept saying before the release. But they build on these minor details to get you hooked and ship everyone. For all I know, if DYH has feelings for him, it makes sense for her to keep a low profile in front of Grandma. And ZZ cares about everyone so I can't read him at all 😂
