hey soo, this is my second xianxia drama as someone who just started getting really into cdramas and imma have…
Looks like you got pretty far, so if you don't like it, there's no point trying to figure out why others did. Watching a drama is subjective by nature and whether you like it or not depends on your own feelings and thoughts. No matter what other people say, what you feel about a drama is right for you.
I wonder if he does. She has loved him and stayed by his side through thick and thin. He's obsessed with revenge, so she helps him in any way that she can. He is bound to be moved by that.
I also wonder why PYZ make a decision to trade that bracelet with TTJ, thought he is a cultivator and would know…
I suppose at this point he's desperate. He predicted what he needs and how he can get it. TTJ is desperate to save LSS and PYZ is desperate to save XL.
Hey hey Moonies! Time for our 2nd anniversary rewatch!😄 Tune in to Episode 27 and relive the trauma all over…
LSS's despair from the previous episodes is replaced by guilt of misunderstanding TTJ's actions. She latches on to the last chance to complete her mission even more firmly, because it's also the way to ensure that TTJ lives. Dying while saving the world and the man she loves is worth it for her.
The mandatory death and mayhem that signals the beginning of the end of the arc has officially begun and we have lost another beloved character.
Sorry I'm late!!!!Hey hey Moonies! Time for our 2nd anniversary rewatch!😅😅😆 Tune in to Episode 26 and…
Ah, we have reached the episode that stabbed us all in the heart.
The wedding was visually stunning, but emotionally heartbreaking. Poor TTJ thought he was finally getting the one thing he thought he would never have, only to lose it in such a painful way. The fact the he says he still loves her and allows her to kill him is the culmination of all the previous times when she was the only one he ever forgave unconditionally and without any strings. As heartbreaking as it is for TTJ, it is by no means easy for LSS. She always believed the her idea of changing TTJ for the better and that way avoiding the DG she knew from appearing was a long shot, but she wholeheartedly pursued it and hoped it would work. The doubt was always there though and every time TTJ showed a glimpse of cruelty and extreme behaviour, she was scared of not succeeding. This time people she cared about got hurt and she lost hope completely and decided to resolutely execute the only plan that she believed would work. Both of them are heartbroken by this.
The dungeon scene is among the most heartbreaking in this drama. LYX and BL are absolutely brilliant. The sheer despair in that scene is so palpable, that even though it's hard to watch, it's actually one of my favourite scenes in this drama.
"Since you don't cherish my love, you can have a taste of my hatred." He says that very confidently, but in the end he can never bring himself to actually hurt her. Not even after all of that. He still considers her as his everything. The one person who showed him the warmth and beauty of this world, so she is in essence the warmth and beauty of the whole world personified to him. It's not necessarily healthy. Especially given what happens in later episodes. However, it's very characteristic of TTJ and everything that has made him who he is.
It's very sad to see the lively and energetic LSS so defeated. The weight of her responsibilities came crushing down and swallowed her.
TTJ controls LSS through the Ruo River, and lets her escape with Xiao Lin, but not before asking her a few questions."Did…
Yeah. Obviously it's not a normal reaction, but neither TTJ nor LSS are normal people. They are people that have gone through extremely traumatising and harsh situations. They have emotional and mental scars that make them do extreme things when they are triggered.
YBC saying "back then I was proud and arrogant" and "back then I was greedy and foolish". Who is she trying to…
Her sister is definitely higher ranked, because she basically pledges her loyalty to ADG for saving her sister and allowing her rebirth and healing. So while Mo Nv is healing, Si Ying rises through the ranks. As for having a choice, I think all of them do. No matter the rank. The actions are a choice. Si Ying is unfailingly loyal to ADG, because he saved her and her sister, but she doesn't seem to be inherently evil. Di Mian is selfish and frighteningly ambitious and power hungry, so he disregards even his family to get what he wants. So I don't think demons are evil by nature.
YBC saying "back then I was proud and arrogant" and "back then I was greedy and foolish". Who is she trying to…
You're right, I've been here since the beginning, so this is my third rewatch. Although, I'll admit, I've skipped most of her parts after watching it once. I'd say there's no justification for her behaviour, obviously. Her being originally a demon is not enough explanation for me though. Demons are at odds with immortals, but I don't think they're evil by nature. Just look at PR. Being evil is her own nature.

I don't think it's his jealousy that was greater than his love, but his insecurities that overwhelmed him. From the moment he was born he was called a monster and believed himself to be unlovable. The moments he shared with LSS would be enough for any normal person and would have been enough for him as well if XL never appeared. But XL did appear and TTJ had seen with his own eyes in the past how much YXW was obsessed with XL. His reaction was extreme, but given everything we know, it seems fitting.
Hey hey MOONIES!! Time for our 2nd anniversary rewatch!😄 Tune in to Episode 25 and....... sigh. yeah, let's…
One of the more heartbreaking episodes.
YBC turned a moment of kindness she received which allowed her to return home to cause the death of two people. This is the reason why she's such a hateful character and why she was never happy. She's a horrible person that poisons everything around, including herself.
This is also the episode that showcased the insecurities of both LSS and TTJ. TTJ has no difficulty believing that LSS was trying to kill him to save XL, because he believes that LSS loves XL and he himself is fundamentally unlovable. Despite all the moments they have shared until now, this is something that has been ingrained in his mind since he was little. Her betrayal seems almost expected to him. It's very sad. LSS on the other hand also readily believes that all the moments they have shared were fake and that he was pretending, because she was always wishing she could change him, but at the core of it was always unsure of her impact.

Agreed. The princess in The Double went through some horrible things. YBC is selfish and greedy right from the beginning. Always pretending, even to herself, that she's some victim. That her life is so unfair. That she deserves the best, but others take it from her. When she's unhappy she destroys the happiness of others. When she's happy she still tries her best to make sure others aren't happy. She's a psychotic, narcissistic, selfish, fake, greedy and arrogant horrible excuse for a human being. Looks like I'm still traumatised 🤣🤣🤣

For me, YBC is fully to blame. The rest of the characters acted according to their personalities and emotions, but she is just hateful for no reason.

A tragic episode.
