Watching this ep. 17, Just brings frustration towards MY’s arrogance, thinking he knew what’s best for SJ.…
The biggest problem I have with MY is that time and time again he makes the same mistake of making unilateral decisions, which he ends up regretting, but he just doesn't seem to learn anything from his mistakes. And then of course when he finally does show some improvement, it's too late.
Hi Moonies! Here's the cue for our 2nd anniversary rewatch. 😁The Bo're Life arc is almost done. Tune in to…
After the heartbreaking story of SJ and MY, we're finally getting a few lighter episodes with LSS trying her best to seduce TTJ without actually knowing what she's doing.
Hi Moonies! Here's the cue for our 2nd anniversary rewatch. 😁Tune in to Episode 17 to see what could have been…
This is the episode where for me MY started to really fail SJ and most of it is lack of communication, because at the core of it his intentions are good. The problem is that instead of listening to her and what she wants and supporting her, he's forging ahead with what he thinks is right and is trying to fix things and return her to how she used to be, disregarding the fact that that's most likely impossible at this point. He's failing to ask her what she wants and what she needs and how she feels.
Sad as it is, it's satisfying to see SJ get her revenge and destroy TH.
Ep 16, MY can lie…our God of War learns to lie and act for love. I really like the emotional expression by LYX…
All the Gods seemed to be more preoccupied with killing demons, which was supposedly their purpose. Maybe they were never meant to fall in love and get married. Look at what happened to CH.
Then I skipped the whole Tian Huan arc again. Can’t see her massacre act on clam sect…Again I blame MY for…
To be honest I don't fully blame MY for this, but there's definitely some blame. Especially since he seems to be weary of TH, so he's aware that her feelings for him are obsessive. The problem is that he doesn't seem to think she's capable of doing something evil. Probably because she's his teacher's daughter, so he's projecting her father's nobility onto her. I think in that aspect he shares some of SJ's innocence. He's kind of in a little bubble, completely immersed in his work and doesn't pay attention to much else. It's only when he's confronted directly with all the evil things that she's done that he finally sees her for who she is.
Hi Moonies! Here's the cue for our 2nd anniversary rewatch. 😁Trouble in bamboo forest paradise? 🎍🎍🏡🌳🌳😢😢Tune…
This was yet another devastating episode. The contrast between their peaceful and happy moments in the bamboo forest and the massacre TH unleashed on the clam clan makes this among the most heartbreaking episodes in this drama. As sad as the ending of this episode is, for me the saddest part is that SJ blames herself for it. She feels that she made a mistake falling in love with MY and marrying him, but she never did anything wrong. The blame falls squarely on the evil psycho TH, but our kindhearted little clam can't help but feel responsible. This just highlights that despite the handful of happy moments SJ and MY spent together and the potential that their pure love had, ultimately their relationship was ill-fated. It's unfortunate, heartbreaking and immensely sad, because you can't help but root for them even though from the beginning we already knew that this arc won't end well.
Hey hey Moonies! Time for our 2nd anniversary rewatch!!😁 Tune in to Episode 14 and.....bring your tissues with…
If only SJ and MY expressed their thoughts to each other. Most of their problems seem to originate from the fact that both are very inexperienced as far as romantic relationships are concerned. It's a first love for both of them. Given time, even with TH's interference, I'm convinced they would have made it work and learn how to communicate and express themselves. Unfortunately, the circumstances weren't in their favour with the escalating war. MY made a stubborn and painful decision in the face of death. Honestly, with the way things were going between them, I don't blame him for making that choice given the fact that he was so sure that he was going to die. It's very true to his character. SJ also made her decision based on the facts that she believed to be true, fuelled by TH's lies and MY's rejection. I can't really blame her either and I actually admire the fact that she resolutely decided to remove herself from the painful situation by leaving even though she really loved him and didn't want to leave.
The battle is EPIC. The cooperation between MY, JZ and CH is flawless and shows how close the three really are.
