Hey hey Moonies! Time for our 2nd anniversary rewatch! Tune in to Episode 24 and... watch out for porridge!π€’
We only had a few happy episodes and things are going downhill again. TTJ's fate of suffering is really too strong.
YBC really never learns her lesson. I just want to reach though the screen and slap her. Thankfully this is a rewatch and I can just skip most of her parts. Unfortunately, I still remember the blistering rage and hate during the first time I watched this drama.

YBC saying "back then I was proud and arrogant" and "back then I was greedy and foolish". Who is she trying to fool? You're even more proud, arrogant, greedy and foolish now. Plus a whole lot of other horrible things.
=SIGH= NIAN BAIYUUUUUUUU!!!!! Did you have to appear at that moment???TTJ was well on his way to becoming the…
That's exactly what I was thinking. There are a lot of things that will happen in the following episodes that are absolutely heartbreaking and I would have liked the characters not to go through, but it has all shaped the people they eventually become.
While this drama is by no means bad, it had the potential to be so much better.
I will admit I still enjoyed most of it. One of the things that definitely could've benefited from some improvement is the overall story. The pacing was a bit off and the story was a little messy and repetitive, especially towards the end. There are some details and explanations missing.
The FL is not entirely likeable. The biggest problem is that she's too impulsive and not smart enough to keep it in check, which makes her seem stupid because she always acts before thinking.
The main villain gets more stupid as the episodes go by.
While the romance is the main focus and saving grace of this drama, the lack of communication between the main couple creates most of the issues.
...with of course foxy PR and YQY having their romantic moment on the rooftop as wellπβ€οΈ YQY of course…
YQY is actually very pure hearted. Especially in terms of romance. He doesn't ask for much. Just whatever PR is willing to give. He has no thought of holding her back in any way or restrain her, which is probably what's attracting the free spirited PR to him so much.
Had to pause and just savor the entire Qixi festival with these lovebirds... LSS's trauma and dilemma showing…
That was a gorgeous scene. Not only visually, but emotionally. LSS is indeed reminded that he's the DG, but she doesn't shrink away from him this time. She takes his hand and looks at him. Really, looks at him. TTJ. Not any other version of him, but the present him. The man that has changed so much that he's no longer anyone else.
This may sound repetitive by now, but this episode also has some of my favourite moments. One of them is the conversation…
It's a testament to LYX and BL's talent and chemistry, that shines not only in the passionate and dramatic moments, but in tender and fragile ones as well.
Hey hey Moonies!! Time for our 2nd anniversary rewatch!π Tune in to Episode 23 and.... let's just enjoy these…
This episode started out with some beautiful romantic scenes between TTJ and LSS and PR and YQY and ended with the elegant fight between TTJ and XL. This is definitely among my favourite episodes (I feel like I keep repeating this over and over).
LSS is finally seeing TTJ as more than a mission and more than the future DG, but as a separate entity. As just TTJ. The man she loves. It's unfortunate that every time they take a step toward each other, the circumstances and some evil people (aka YBC) force them to take two steps back.
YBC remains shameless and fake, fake, fake. I can't stand looking at her. I can't wait for the next episode where she gets some of what she deserves.
Hi Moonies! Here's the cue for our 2nd anniversary rewatch. πTune in to Episode 22! Share your thoughts about…
PR and YQY have a completely different dynamic to our main couple. Both are actually very straightforward, but in a different way. I would have liked to see more of them. Maybe they should get a drama of their own.

Overall, it was not bad for a short drama.
