Hey hey Moonies! Time for our 2nd anniversary rewatch!!😁 Tune in to Episode 14 and.....bring your tissues with…
If only SJ and MY expressed their thoughts to each other. Most of their problems seem to originate from the fact that both are very inexperienced as far as romantic relationships are concerned. It's a first love for both of them. Given time, even with TH's interference, I'm convinced they would have made it work and learn how to communicate and express themselves. Unfortunately, the circumstances weren't in their favour with the escalating war. MY made a stubborn and painful decision in the face of death. Honestly, with the way things were going between them, I don't blame him for making that choice given the fact that he was so sure that he was going to die. It's very true to his character. SJ also made her decision based on the facts that she believed to be true, fuelled by TH's lies and MY's rejection. I can't really blame her either and I actually admire the fact that she resolutely decided to remove herself from the painful situation by leaving even though she really loved him and didn't want to leave.
The battle is EPIC. The cooperation between MY, JZ and CH is flawless and shows how close the three really are.
Alrigthy Moonies...I am starting the cue for Ep 13 of our 2nd anniversary rewatch! This is the episode where our…
I understand SJ falling for TH's tricks. She's an honest and innocent person and doesn't know enough about TH to be weary. But MY is another case altogether. He knows TH and he clearly knows she has feelings for him. Plus he's powerful and intelligent, so why did he not figure things out sooner? I suppose that's because he's an honest and noble person himself. Moreover, TH is the daughter of the previous God of War, who by all accounts was also noble. He didn't expect her to be this malicious. Such a pity...
Re-watching ep 13, I really love their romance arc. Although they ended in tragedy. I just love the subtle eye…
Under different circumstances, SJ and MY would have been such a cute couple and would have had a wholesome relationship. Unfortunately, TH wasn't the only problem the poor things had to face. The war with ADG would not have ended well anyway and MY was carrying too much responsibility on his shoulders to indulge in anything else.
Sang Jiu is so precious. My heart is breaking already just thinking about what she's going to have to go through.
I'm skipping most her her scenes as well. I just get enraged when I see her. I skipped her scenes on our first rewatch as well. Watching her psychotic behaviour once was enough.
This is one of the dramas that was added to my PTW list, because I like the genre and it didn't disappoint. It's visually stunning, with beautiful costumes and locations. The story was built nicely, getting more and more interesting as it progressed. I also liked the characters. First of all, the FL and the ML are opposites, but at the same time are a great match. The progression of their relationship as well as their individual growth is portrayed really well. There is a multitude of endearing characters to root for. All in all, I enjoyed watching this drama a lot.
We are moving into MingYe and SangJiu’s arc. Actually re-watching this, I wonder how it would be like if they…
While I think having the same actors was a good way of showing us that it's them experiencing the life of MY and SJ, I actually always wondered why they never showed what the original MY and SJ looked like.
The battle is EPIC. The cooperation between MY, JZ and CH is flawless and shows how close the three really are.
Couldn't agree more. This was definitely the best he's looked in a drama so far.
