This show was hilarious. A very good comedy. While watching it, I just laughed like an idiot almost all the time. I mean, some gags were freaking awesome. But, don't expect too much in (noona)romance department. Lee Ha Nui chemistry with Hong Ki is absolutely non-existent. However, I enjoyed so much. Ohhh, another important thing: the guys were adorable - real sweeties... Simply, you must love them...
MISAENG - wow!!!
So far, this drama definitely is one of the best I have ever watched. I'm a sucker for romantic dramas, but although there is no a bit of romance in Misaeng, I am so happy that I watched it. The acting crew was amazing and the story was even better, brilliant - emotional, meaningful, layered, with a bit of melancholy...Just perfect
He's too pretty for a guy and looks so fragile... I hope that he'll gain some weight soon, otherwise his female drama partners will look more masculine then him - don't get me wrong, I am really worried...
First, the story is great, original and refreshing, but very disturbing - Korean patriarchal society, single moms and dicriminatory laws, witch hunt, injustice, love, gold diggers, sexsism - simply, for the nervous breakdown... I mean, while marathoned it, I have unconsciously bitten all my nails till they bleed... I wanted to smash my monitor numerous times. And I cried. And I laughed. Then I cried again...This was really huge emotional rollercoaster for me...
But I liked it. I LOVED IT. After almost two hundred dramas on my list, I can rightly say - this drama has one of the best stories. EVER.
Second, Bae Su Bin... I know he's pretty skilled actor. But, in this drama, he was just magnificent. Stunning. I like No Min Woo better and Park Shi Yeon was great too, but he has overshadowed them all.
All in all, this drama is incredible. Highly recommend...
Such a good drama, yet so underrated... I love this simple and sweet story and the beautiful characters in it - the main couple and the second lead guy, especially.
Just finished it and I like it. I'm not ecstatic with the story but, the main couple shared such a tangible, amazing chemistry - it was a real pleasure to watch it. Also, both of leads are so gorgeous and good actors, especially LDW - it was not easy job to portray such a complex character like Cha Jae Wan, but he simply nailed it... Though I didn't like Ah Mo Ne character because the most of the time she was an embarrassing bird-brain, I must admit that LDH cuteness slightly softened my attitude.. IMO, the second female lead character had a much better personality - caring, rational and mature... All in all, it wasn't bad.
I like all kinds of films and genres but, somehow, when I watch Asian cinematography, I always stuck with some romantic film though they aren't my exclusive preference. The same is with dramas. I tried to watch some praised Korean action and crime dramas, but, imho, they were lacking in romance departement - and it just didn't work. I realized, then, that the subtle gentleness of Asian romances, especially in television dramas, is the main reason of my obsession. Now, I don't even try to watch something else. I have my HBO channels for the other stuff. So, thanks for the nice article and recommendations, I'm going to watch them asap.
Btw, my favs are 3-Iron and Bangkok Traffic Love Story...
