I hope the rumours about Kaye having DID/being the mastermind are wrong. I don't trust GMMTV to treat the subject with any sensitivity, and there are so many pathological villains in fiction already. I hope that, if he's the mastermind and not a red herring, he's perfectly sane - and if he has DID, that he didn't do anything Nekros-related. But, mostly, I hope Thun is the mastermind. :P
I think she's over fangirling him since he became a close friend (winkwinknudgenudge) of her brother. She's treating…
I wanted that, too, and it would have been natural in the scene where they first met each other - but I don't think there was anything like that? Suddenly they were acquaintances without us seeing the introduction. Bit weird. Perhaps they cut it because of time constraints.
I'm not even 4 minutes into ep5 and here are two things I want to point out.1: First thing Phat did when he woke…

I wish Praew were more loyal to her brother and more suspicious of her boss. Yet, after he said she was just a brat, she would obviously do something messy to get back at him... But it seems clear to me that Thun/Off is using her to get info from the police - and it doesn't help that I'm sure he's the mastermind behind the Nekros killings.
Far from me to support police violence, but I myself wanted to punch Thun when he started cornering Kaye and repeatedly pressing the pen, so, yeah, I'm with Phat on that one. It doesn't help that I'm sure he's the mastermind behind the Nekros killings².
My theory is that Thun became a Mr Kill fanboy because he related to it because of the whole thing with Phat and Praew's supposedly corrupt father (the same incident that ruined Kaye's family). He probably lost family to that. I think that's his villain origin story, and that what he said about Kim on the show could be said about himself, too. So yeah, I really am insisting on him being the mastermind beh... /gets shot
The sound effects and editing style are very reminiscent of ChermChey. Whether that's a good thing or a bad thing, I can't say for sure. I do wish they toned down the cat and lion roar sounds specifically, though. Having the final scene of every epi summarizing the episode itself is also ChermChey-coded, imo. I like that Sarm is clearly already falling for Jam. The little pecks on his head after the mouth-to-mouth resuscitation were adorable, as was how frequently he extended his hand to help Jam do whatever.
Ai-chan is going to be more forward from now on, huh? He admitted he loves Okumi and that he wants to be someone he can count on, and from the preview, he'll start taking the initiative, too! I kinda needed that, a more balanced relationship is going to do them a lot of good!
