too tiny and skinny to be killing people in all those complicated ways by herself after kim died. unless she has another helper/associate, it would be very weird.
I'm enjoying this, really I am, but the suspension of disbelief is *hard* with this one lol. Where did the backpack…
Iawtc~ I think either Mark's character had those kidnappers after him and Sarm thinks his siblings are backing Mark, or that he thinks one of the siblings wants him out of the scene for good.
No hate because I genuinely do love this show, but like urgh š I expected way more personality and character…
About the first part: Me too. They're still too similar to who they were 5 years ago, and I wanted them to grow and change. If this turns out to just rehash what happened in the 2021 arc (Big Jane doing his favors thingie without protecting himself or anyone else effectively, Lil'Jane being super-suspicious and berating Big Jane for not stopping something he clearly doesn't want to stop), it's going to be really disappointing.
On the second part: I was hoping Lil' Jane would be less passive and more into getting JP back, but maybe I'm a weirdo.
The preview got me almost facepalming , not Jet again?!!! that guy is a menace to Lil'Jane apparently. Also the…
I thought the same thing about Jet - I thought it the first time, with the betting, and again now. Guess I'm more suspicious than Lil' Jane, and that's saying A LOT.
- I really liked the character of the kid and the interactions between the three of them. I didn't expect either of those things to happen, or for Jamie to be a little shipper! - Chekov's peanuts! I'm keeping an eye out every time Jamie eats, so I notice those evil legumes when they show up again... - Lil' Jane is being awkward sometimes, but I don't blame him. I'd be a worse mess in a situation like that, even without Lil' Jane's past traumas! - "You can't ever go in that room" was giving Beauty and the Beast x Bluebeard, and I appreciate the references~ - That's clearly a bad father... P'Jane is deeply unhappy about him, huh? - Not those awful coworkers again! I'm starting to root for them to get fired. And thanks for the help, Gap, you've always been a true one, unlike Put and Dan <_< - Big Jane is still doing the favor thing, and Lil' Jane is still as suspicious and nosy as ever. It was just a timeskip, after all, not a personality transplant, so I guess that tracks. Let's see what goes differently this time - it would be ridiculous to rehash their 2021 plot. - So, Jet is the one who wants to be an idol now, not Jean (I heard it was her in the book; I've seen a bunch of book spoilers because people don't mark book stuff as spoilers... but it's wtv, I don't want to read it or the sequels anyway). That kinda makes more sense to me, because of EVEN MORE BOOK SPOILERS - JP might not be a demon, but he sure is the boogieman to those kids. :X But yeah, he's gonna isolate the kid, like he did himself, if he isn't more moderate in his retaliations. - - Oh, Chekov's peanuts came back earlier than I expected! - Hi Dr. Ram, been a while! - Yeah, that scene could've been better, but let's just note the trauma the kid's been through and move on to: - The bad father. Ugh. I get it, P'Jane. I don't necessarily condone it, but I see why you're like that. That dude deserves whatever horrible shit comes his way, talking about his son like he's less important than a fucking meeting... Some people shouldn't reproduce. - It's a serial-killer style shrine! How very avant-garde. - How on earth did Big Jane get that letter back? Did Lil' Jane leave it in that apartment they used to share? Did he have someone steal it from Lil'Jane's house? I'm not even gonna ask how that picture of both of them on the piano was taken without him knowing. - The statue needs some sanding, to say the least. - Erm... at least he knows what he's getting himself into this time, and decided it doesn't matter? He wasn't repulsed - he was flattered. Good for them, I guess. I'm not going to kinkshame when they're both consenting adults :P
Again, Miss Peggy mid-credits, this time with Chiakai.
AND THEY WERE ROOMMATES
So they're working together officially, he's Dawei's informant unofficially, and they're living together? That's not too much at all /sarcasm This is going to be so messy!
Dawei is a neat freak, a control freak, and a scaredy cat rolled in one. (I think I love him.) They're going to have to adapt a lot, I guess, and that's always fun to watch. I love that Chiakai cooked Dawei a real meal after noticing he basically lives off of frozen food.
I thought Jian was the second ML and it would become a triangle thing, but nah, he's simply bad news. Dawei needs to stop defending him, what do you mean Chiakai shouldn't become prejudiced against him when he's acting like that? He's a corrupt cop who is too big for his breeches. I don't care if he's your secret sibling, your previous crush or wtv, he's going to cause you trouble. @_@
I was scared they would portray that sensitive situation in a weird light, but it was ok, IMO. The cop's reaction to Chiakai's claim and, later, to the bruises... I want to know what happened to him and his family.
ML left him bandages and meds, aw! <3 And he offered him a place to stay!! I loved the thread already changing colors,..
Is Miss Peggy Chiakai's mentor? Aunt? Some other relative? Close friends with his parents? They seem really close, too.
So, Chiakai can simply follow his thread to the cop from wherever he is and follow other people's threads, too. That must have some creepy uses as well as the helpful ones - he could become a very efficient stalker or detective if he wanted to A_A
The second annoying girl from the first episode explained that he didn't want her money! I wish the other one would stop getting him into trouble, but at least it ended well (please don't send money to people you don't know well - or even to people you know well, if there's a shady vibe. that con is really old and a lot of folks still fall for it!)

There's a Miss Peggy mid-credits scene again.
