It's a crack show, it's ridiculous on purpose, don't take it seriously and it will be the funniest thing
Looking at my own comment and I need to apologize, I didn't mean to oppose or dictate how you should feel about this, sorry.
What makes this drama funny to me is the way it's self-aware and even makes fun of these overused ridiculous tropes. The tripping is not there as a romantic moment but to make us laugh and it's working, at least for me xD

Samayou Yaiba had me thinking of Koreeda's The Third Murder. In that movie, there are two murders and so one could ask what is this other murder the title might be referring to and as you keep on watching, you realize the possible implication : the third murder is that of justice, ironically by the very legal and judicial system that is meant to preserve it. Both the movie and this drama, while different in stories, ask similar and equally difficult questions leaving us, viewers, to our own dilemma and conflicting thoughts and emotions to find our answers. What unfolded in SY is a tragedy through and through and while it all came to an and, there was no closure, only a deep rooted feeling of devastation remained. Some people said the ending wasn't satisfactory but then again what exactly could be a satisfying resolution in this case? In every scenario, there's gonna be blood and death and pain.
This is one of the hardest things I've watched and that I'm sure will remain with me for the longest time. It's not a crime show or vengence story, it's a deep look into the human heart and how we react in the face of adversity and life's brutal realities. How absolute is the law? When performing one's duty where does one draw the line with their own morality? Who and what defines what is just and righteous? Even in a grey area, there are still countless shades and an indefinite spectrum, so where and how does one choose to stand?
A great great show with a brilliant cast and perfect directing : 10/10.
I just finished the 1st episode and what a little gem! Quiet, slow-paced but relatable and soothing. I like that it doesn't magically give answers and solutions but leaves characters to decide for themselves after letting it out of their chest and identifying what is exactly that's causing them grief. Unlike others, I do like the music section and that the characters are bad singers, it's just so...realistic and genuine? The detail of them being related is creative and adds some depth. The way I see it is not the oh magical fated link but more in the sense of we aren't isolated isles and share more than what we might think. I love love this drama and already wish it had 100 episodes!
I can no longer keep track of every DM asking me for the link to watch this with eng subs so I will just post…

sometimes a show is objectively a trainwreck but subjectively you're having the time of your life watching it and that's all that matters
