The idea of this show was good in theory but its execution not so mcuh. There are little details that could have easily made it better, smoother and more fleshed out but it felt like the show creators got lazy. It's still a nice watch (I've seen worse lol) and a promising start if they intend to make more collabs of this kind.

Yeah I expect they wouldn't exactly follow the source material in every aspect. I was just curious if in the manhwa the ml falls in love with the male version or if his feelings develop after learning her true identity

I hope they don't villainize Ji PD in some way just to resolve the love triangle. I really like the trio's dynamics and especially Chief Hong and Ji PD, they seem like they can be good friends what with all their funny banters and their shared passion for food (the actors have amazing chemistry too!) It would be a shame if it was to be ruined over the romance part

The cells are my favourite part of the webtoon and they are just as cute in the adaptation. I didn't wanna raise my expectations but the 1st episode was good and very entertaining, I'm satisfied and can't wait for more!

"Jirisan" will be directed by Kim Eun Hee ("Kingdom" and "Signal") and written by Lee Eung Bok ("Goblin" and "Descendants of the Sun").

The writer and director are mixed up! I believe in Kim Eun-hee's genius and maybe she will surprise us one day with a directing debut but Jirisan is not it xD
