If I'm not mistaken, they will be released on wetv an hour after Japan so yeah we might be able to watch it too. Our friend Boron is planning a group watch
Stolen from tumblr but it's so accurate to how I'm feeling right now : "That awkward moment when you feel an actual physical ache in your chest because of the romance of two fictional characters."
Saw the first episode and I love it! There's a sinister undertone that contrasts with the innocence of the main characters and it's weirdly hilarious but not mocking. I can't wait to see more
I wonder if Adachi is aware of this. When Kurosawa confessed he never mentioned the 7 years. If Adachi only knows…
You are right, Kurosawa only assumed and mistook their friendship for possible romantic interest. Other than Minato who openly identifies as gay, no character here clearly labels their sexuality so it's all open to interpretation : is Kurosawa bi? Is Adachi the first man he developped feelings for? Has Adachi always been aware he wasn't straight? Has he only realized gender didn't matter to him thanks to Kurosawa? Does Fujisaki identify as aro/ace? Or is it that she doesn't prioritize romance in her life? etc. It's interesting to discuss and see how everyone sees it
Does the manga continue after the end of this season? I wonder if there was a season 2, would it be adapted from…
I don't read the manga but I know volume 6 came out a couple of days ago. The drama changed some details (for example in the manga Kurosawa had a crush only for 1 year!! and the reveal about the magic wasn't angsty). Our friend RandomUsagi here might tell you more details if you're curious about the manga
Today so many interview articles with Akaso came out, here is summary of what I found interesting:- He loves Adachi’s…
You're doing God's work. Thank you so much for your hard work <33 I really like their friendship. There's so much respect and admiration between them and it shows in their undeniable chemistry on and off screen. I hope they get to work together again some day. I always wonder how actors can move on from characters if even us viewers, who are ultimately outsiders, struggle to do it >.<

The manga is still ongoing and the drama covered pretty much everything in it up to the confession and when they started dating. After that, the drama stopped following the manga and what we had was original content by the screenwriters (tho I think they still consulted the mangaka). Who knows if the manga will provide enough new material to make a second season but it seems for now the drama production have no intention to make one.
Have you just created your account? Welcome to the community ^_^Kurosawa's reaction can be frustrating but I personally…
This is the nicest thing, I'm about to cry T__T Please I'm no senpai, I learn a lot from everyone here too. I'm glad my thoughts resonate with you, thank you for your kind words <333

True, Kurosawa always kept his feelings well hidden but he didn't look like he wanted to give up and move on even when at the back of his head he knew Adachi didn't like men. The "I didn't hate your kiss" gave him hope and it was only after the confession and what he thought was rejection that he got a reality check and decided to put an end to his unrequited love. It's really hard to tell how long he would have kept pining for Adachi without the events triggered by the magic or if they would even be able to become close. It's just my own belief and wishful thinking to imagine they were meant to be anyway :(

You know how the drama is from Adachi's persepctive and he only started to notice Kurosawa after he got his magic so I like to believe Kurosawa during those 7 years made subtle attempts so as not to scare Adachi away but Adachi, oblivious as he is, probably never understood (Kurosawa always looks at Adachi, always greets him, the one time he met him at the elevator he offered to take the stairs proably to spend more time with him etc.). Kurosawa's love is deep and unwavering, otherwise it wouldn't have lasted that long. I like to believe they would have gotten closer anyway, even if took a lot more time to happen without the magic. Kurosawa never thought of seriously giving up until episode 6-7, after they got closer and he confessed and thought he got rejected and without the magic I think he wouldn't have given up either until he got a confirmation he never stood a chance... It's probably not realistic but I wanna believe they're meant to be because the idea of this never happening depresses me :(
Can we talk about how Kurosawa had a one-sided love towards Adachi for 7 YEARS!!!
I wonder if Adachi is aware of this. When Kurosawa confessed he never mentioned the 7 years. If Adachi only knows how he touched Kurosawa's heart long before he got the magic maybe he can believe more in himself and realize it's the real him Kurosawa has been in love with all this time :(
According to Tsutaya's official website, the 3 special episodes will be about 40 minutes long (in total). https://tsutaya.tsite.jp/feature/original/cherimaho/index?sc_cid=tsutaya_a99_ccad_etc_atom_Tpre_12_5_201221
Crumbs T__T But it's better than nothing right? Right? *sobs*
