Guys, Machida and Eiji have such great chemistry on screen that I'm not sure I can see them with other girls in…
Yes their chemistry is great but try not to fall into this unhealthy line of thought where you might end up mixing up the actors with their characters. We are enjoying this show and their performance because they are good at their job. I know it will be very hard to move on but try to support them by looking forward to their other porjects too ^_^

Just wanna say again how much I appreciate Fujisakis character in the drama. She's the perfect example of just…
I love her so much. She's not given a lot of screentime but her presence is soothing. She's a friend and cares for Adachi in her own way, like a fond big sister. She's very perceptive and is the only one who noticed Kurosawa's feelings. I hope we see more of her as she realizes they got together and quietly supports them.

I know you read the manga so I'm curious about two other things :1. What are the circumstances of their first…
Thank you so much <3

Hm it's really not the same. Kurosawa didn't look jealous in the preview and in episode 6 he was clearly aware how immature that could be so I trust it will be different here. I also hope Adachi will relax and open up more about his thoughts and anxiety. That could be an interesting "conflict" to have where they end up having a meaninglful convo about it. I wonder if Adachi will ever bring up his power too (I know he does in the manga).

The more I learn about these differences, the more I trust and applaud the drama production for their choices. The characters depiction feels healthier and well thought out.

I know some users haven't read the manga but are interested in the comparisons between the drama and the manga.…
I know you read the manga so I'm curious about two other things :
1. What are the circumstances of their first kiss? When and who does it first? I feel like the drama won't have one and I'm totally ok with it but a personal preference of mine is for Adachi to be the one initiating, maybe even just a peck on the cheek.
2. Do manga Adachi and Kurosawa ever discuss their boundaries and the pace of their relationship? I keep thinking about the line in the preview about taking things slow. I'd love to see such a conversation in the drama.

Ah side note about the audience and tone of the drama. There have been comments popping up that Kurosawa is creepy…
Yeah, it's clear Kurosawa is physically attracted to Adachi, the hints are there but there's only this much they can show in 25 minutes when the main focus is on emotions and Kurosawa's main steuggle is sorting out his 7-year unrequited love. Like excuse the man for not being horny 24/7 lol

First point about Adachi's power. Yeah I get the feeling it hasn't been making much of an appearance this episode.…
If the mole scene and other examples we presented are along the lines of what you meant then what is even your initial criticism? Tell us a concrete example of Kurosawa being desexualized. I'm sorry but you're contradicting yourself. Make it make sense.

I see but I still don't think CM is doing any of it here. It's just your regular romcom where the main couple happens to be two men. The tone of the show doesn't ask for a focus on the physical aspect so it's not there but it's not completely dismissed either like many of us already explained here.

Exactly, they're clearly going for a certain tone for the drama and Kurosawa's characterization is such that it fits said tone without completely dismissing his physical attraction to Adachi. I honestly don't get the initial comment.

It's not weird, I feel the same way too. I like how the fandom is not big, it's fun and peaceful without the creeps…
Yeah it puts me off too sometimes. It's not even specific to BL as a genre. Toxic fans are everywhere and it's more noticeable with popular shows

I mean every week I say the same thing about every episode lol but yeah it is!
4 holds a very special place in my heart because of Fujisaki's development, it was very important to me and I was very touched to see it acknowledged. Maybe they didn't have enough screen time but I kinda enjoyed jealous Adachi in 5, it was cute to see him clueless about his own feeling lol

OK, there is one thing that's bothering me. They've pretty much dropped Adachi's powers - he didn't even hear…
From episode 1, after Adachi realizes his new acquired power, the first thing he does is change his habits and routines to avoid physical contact with others as best as he can (waking up early, avoid rush hour, pay with his phone, not taking the packed elevator, etc). He doesn't like to pry and he has never taken advantage of his power, except too times : with Rokkaku and the angry client who wanted Mont Blanc. Everything else, he heard by accident and especially with Kurosawa who he knows likes him romantically so he's extra careful with him. All of this is in line and coherence with who Adachi is as a person, not because the writers are lazy and don't know what to do with it. In fact, they're making it clear the mind-reading is there mostly to kick start the story and not as the only device that keeps the plot moving. Their focus is on characters and their emotions and actions and it is important that these come from a genuine and sincere place instead of being dictated and manipulated by the mind-reading. This would be the real "cheating", relying on the plot device instead of fleshing out the characters. Episode 7 lacked any mind-reading because it is not needed, it is where Kurosawa voices out everything and Adachi is given time and space to process his feelings on his own and then express them openly. The choice to "drop" the power is once again coherent and consistent and serves to give more meaning to what we witnessed.

As for Kurosawa, most of episode 6 is him having the hardest time restraining himself, he wants Adachi in many ways (he gets flustered when he find himself on top of him on the bed, he gets jealous when others get his attention, he wnats to touch him when he's sleeping, etc). His thoughts about the mole and some of his daydreams are also implied to have a sexual connotation and Adachi knows that and never lets himself see/hear them further so we never get a graphic presentation of that (that and to keep the show viewer friendly). If a viewer can't guess this much, I'm sorry it's more their problem rather than the show's. I'm expecting the topic of sex will come up at some point now that they're together and their relationship is moving forward. Kurosawa never struck me as chaste and Adachi himself admits he doesn't want to stay virgin. The idea of acquiring the power also means that it will be lost if the person is no longer a virgin and I imagine this is where it's going.

I don't know how any of this came across as homophobic or problematic to you. CMis literally the most harmless show and it has done nothing but present this love in the most respectful way I've seen.
