It had potential
God this drama had sooooo much potential. The strengths: the initial chemistry and the epic fight scenes. The choreo was top tierThe REST of the drama felt unnecessary, the acting was dry and sometimes over the top.
I loved the beginning- but I find myself really feeling underwhelmed (unless there is a fight scene -this has remained top tier, they did not falter there)
The chemistry dropped . I’ve never felt that before where they chemistry just dropped.
I wasn’t feeling anyone else.
The costumes were wonderful!!!!

Listen, I will never not LOVE Mr. Queen. I stumbled upon it waiting for another episode of another drama and I was trapped. The comedy lands!!. ALL the characters were interesting. Most times I catch myself forwarding other K-Dramas with supporting characters because they aren't as interesting, but nooooo not Mr. Queen. EVERYONE was so good. The ROMANCE!!!! *Chefs make-out session* This drama will have you laughing so hard, falling evern harder and crying because its over. The main actor and actress- I now search for EVERYTHING they are in because it was perfection forged into 20- 1hr + episodes. I will be actually purchasing the DVDs when they come out. Mr Queen is the top tier and I highly recommend this.Was this review helpful to you?
Different
So far, I’m enjoying this drama. I like that the female lead is a specialist - not too fond of her character, but that may be a personal choice. I really like assertive FL and she is not.The other male characters are fun- especially the vice minister. The actor just does that role so much justice. I really wish he was the main lead. His facial expressions and delivery are superb.
I wouldn’t say that I’m surprised at certain revelations- I think there has only been c-dramas that had me with my mouth open… most are predictable.

This is a tale of love and tragedy between a Grim Reaper and a Goblin-
I was here for the Grim Reaper and the Goblin. They kept my attention. I loved their relationship and these actors delivered. Forewarning, the main female character was a bit too much initially- I understand it was due to her age (she is a teenager). I LOVE THIS ACTRESS, even though I did not love her character. I feel the actress did a great job at portraying a very young girl, I just found the girl off putting. That just me. But please please please, get your tissue because when this actress delivers her tragic moment- JESUS, MARY AND JOSEPH, She ripped the tears from the depths of my soul. I saw this clip before and STILL was not ready. The connections and storylines were well written. THE CINEMATOGRAPHY!!! THE SCENERY!!! Yessssssss.
