Too much happened!

This episode was kind of rushed. The mood of the first ten minutes and the rest of the episode didn't match. I didn't like how they squeezed so many things into the same episode. But I am glad the matter with the father got cleared. I was curious to know the full story and now I know what happened. What a sad past for Yi Lei, indeed!

The accident provided for a bad half hour of melodrama. But the upside to this show is that the writers never drag things to the point that you can't take it. I only wish the mother gets killed off by some reason. Xuan Xuan was sweeter in comparison. She's a downright horrendous and horrible person. Plus, her bad acting really is difficult to stand. Her overreactions come across as comical.

I have to mention Yi Fei's baby- so cute! :D

This episode also solidified Mei Le's character. I like how she was able to remain calm and level headed throughout. She is the only one that truly understands Ye Lei. I love their co-dependent relationship. Way to go!

First Impression: Good

The first episode started off well. The only complain I have is the amount of tragedy in the story. I'll stay and try to keep watching the rest of the drama. At this point, I am waiting for the kids to grow up. But the acting was solid by the child stars.

Not again!!

Just when I thought things would be good again, Se Ryung lied again. Enough, already!! And why does she care about the Princess so much? It makes her seem like a pushover. I actually like the Princess better than her. She is insecure but has her reasons. She is terribly lonely and things always go bad for her. Plus, I like that she cannot be talked down. She always argues back. I like that kind of a spirit. Hopefully, she will become better.

And my poor Seung Yoo. He'll end up heartbroken all over again. Se Ryung isn't worthy of trust. She knows the man was ready to die for her, so why is she afraid of telling him the reality. Ahhh. Gimme a break.

This drama is too good. And Seung Yoo really gets me going. What a man! Enjoying this series this far. Just waiting for the tragedy to strike of which we got a glimpse in the first episode itself.

Unexpectedly good!

When I read negative reviews for a drama I tend to keep little expectations. I have been putting this off for so long but gender bender seem quite funny to me so I watched the first episode. However, I loved it! It was quite cute and the eye candy is great.

It doesn't need to have a very good plot because I happen to like cutesy stuff. Hope it won't become too boring later on!

This drama reminds me of Coffee Prince and You're Beautiful all into one.

Why am I watching this?

I was very excited for this drama initially. I thought it would be something different from stereotypical dramas. It actually is quite different but I am still not able to contemplate if that's in a good way or a bad way.

//Start of Rant

This is a record where I hate all three main leads. I just hate one more and one less. This episode changed my views a bit.

I still dislike Xia Mo. Barbie's acting is terrible and she is stiff in all the scenes. Playing an equally bad character doesn't help either. And what's with that wardrobe and makeup that makes her look like a ghost? I blame the acting more than the character. She is glum and hard to understand most of the times. She is ruining the drama over here. I am shocked that this is the same actress that I happened to like in Meteor Garden! Her skills seemed to have gone downhill within a decade.

If there was a competition between Ou Chen and Luo Xi it is hard to guess who would be the winner of 'Biggest Bastard' award (excuse my language). Does screwed past means you have to stoop low? I am talking about Ou Chen here. All sympathy I tried to muster for him has exhausted now.

Luo Xi is not that bad a character but the actor has no talent whatsoever. At least Peter Ho playing Ou Chen can show at least a few emotions.

About the relationship between Luo Xi and Xia Mo- where do I begin? They are one of the most annoying couples of dramaland. The actors have no chemistry whatsoever. All they ever do is have the same conversation over and over or make out and act like they're in love. It goes like:

Luo Xi: "You're mine"

Xia Mo: *nods*

*start making out*

Seriously??! I would kick the guy if he ever treated me like I was a possession or a prize to show off. Talk about unhealthy relationships.

Luo Xi: My life sucks. I was abandoned. I am sad.

Xia Mo: We're orphans. We're doomed... our life will always be like this!

Luo Xi: Oh, you're mine!

Xia Mo: Yes

*start making out*

Do you see a recurring theme in here? *insert sarcasm* Awesome. Makes my day. ^_^

It's been 6 DAMN episodes and where is the character development? I swear if this plot doesn't improve I'll make sure to give it the lowest scores I ever gave to a drama.

LOL what was that?

So Zai Tian's girlfriend died and does anyone care? What a waste of screentime, actually! I'd much rather if they developed at least one couple properly. I am totally shipping Chen Lin and Zai Tian. This episode officially made Ivy Chen my favourite actress.

There is so much related to Zai Tian's past. Poor Vic. That look is truly hideous for him. Anyway, I miss the quirky Zai Tian. Come back, please!

Where is the action and excitement gone?????

NOTE: This drama reminds me of American TV shows because you spend all your energy in shipping your OTP and it doesn't happen. So exhausting! :(

Best episode of a drama EVER!

This was a mind-boggling episode. It was so fictitious that I was laughing half the time while watching it but so cool nevertheless! Reminds me of Spider-Man lol. These guys can do anything. Hahaha! :D

The subway train thing uber cool, man! I wonder how they shot it. For a movie, I can imagine such a sequence but for a drama episode? Way too impressive. Great direction and awesome effects. Yeah, I can't stop gushing because it was SO COOOOOOL.

*Hey drama, where were you hiding my whole life?* Hence starts my bias. I am going to put it down in my favourites surely because every one said it gets better after this episode. I can only imagine what could be in store.

Kingone's acting makes me crazy. His dancing plus fighting on the train was soooo funny. I want to kill him and at the same time this drama would suck without his character. He is a stoner dude. LOL.

The best star cast ever! They can act and they all look so great. Interesting fights and no melodrama! Wow. And the bromance is the best I have seen in any drama yet, hands down.

Okay that's enough! The ending was such a teaser. I wanna know what happened in the past!

Mixed Feelings....

On one hand it has one of the most complex characters I have seen as the main girl and on the other hand it is awfully dull. I guess I am not a melodrama kind of a person but the story sounds so interesting!

It has Cinderella-ish elements but is far from that story. I can't stand Hyo Sun. Her cutesy acts and her pouts don't make her likable to me. I would need character development from her- loads of it. Moon Geun Young never disappoints me. I am watching this drama because of her. She really stood out in the first episode itself. I love complex bad girls as the lead.

I am worried about watching this show further because every one complains that it starts off great and then goes downhill. I didn't think it was a "great" first episode. So would things get much boring or interesting? I'll have to stay for a few more episodes, I guess.

Best episode so far!

I am unbelievably in love with this drama. This episode has all the advancements I was waiting for! (Screw you, Xuan Xuan!)

This episode further proves what an idiot Yi Feng is but great that he found out the truth.

I don't like the manager's motives. Who does she think she is? I hate characters like hers- typical losers.

Ok- now the main thing. Yi Lei and Me Lei!!!!! What an epic couple. Mike He and Cyndi Wang are doing such a good job of playing their characters so well. I am happily celebrating now that Mei Lei finally came around to accepting the truth fully. *sigh*

Glued to the edge of my seat for more.
