I know it's the story, but I can't honestly believe that someone as nice and as beautiful as Ji-Won would be unpopular and have no friends in college. The HS part I understand, because Su-Min alienated her, but Su-Min wasn't in college with her, so you would think she would have at least 1 college friend

Yeah, I tend to shy away from C-Dramas a lot because the long episode count always contains a lot of filler, usually draggy. If you haven't seen Love is Sweet, it was a pretty well written drama and their visuals in it were of course amazing.

The movie theater scene was one of the funniest scenes I've seen in C Dramas too lol

tbh all 3 annoy me lol. especially Dong Gu. They are used mainly as filler, and poorly imo.

I don't find any of his scenes funny at all, just cringe and annoying. Imo his story line is the worst part of this show. It probably wouldn't be as bad if they only devoted like 1/4 of the screen time to it that they are. His whole story line doesn't add anything to the overall story yet he still gets like 10-15 minutes each episode and the story deserves maybe 2-3 at most

Most of the flashbacks are the EXACT SAME scene. Like, we get it, she caught a leaf, saw cupid, king saw her. You don't have to show us 30+ times

The actress who played as the Joseon BR had a busy 2023, she was also in Killing Vote and Park's Marriage Contract that I know of

They want to go home, not back to the Joseon period. They aren't from Earth and have been stuck here for 500 years as a punishment. All 4 cupids were actively working on going home (leaving Earth) until Sang-Hyuk and Dong-Gu started actively sabotaging the plan because of their relationships. They aren't being selfish, SH and DG are

Apparently the "rule" is their height in cm and subtract 115. That is their "goal/ideal" weight in kg. It's insane to me. A 5'5" female "should" be 114lb.

I think most of the time 16 episodes is the sweet spot. It's long enough to give an in depth story without (usually, depends on the drama) too much filler. A lot more 8-12ep dramas I've watched felt kind of rushed, compared to 16ep dramas feeling draggy to me. Also a big reason I'm not a huge fan of CDramas, unless the story is amazing, with the huge episode count the show starts dragging horribly to me

I think part of it might be how most dramas tell the whole story in one season. When I first started watching K-Dramas, almost never having a 2nd season was weird to me, but the writers going into it with the knowledge of it being a one-off seems to cause less filler and a more to the point plot that flows better
