I'm up to episode 10 and can honestly say I've never seen a second couple I could care for less than this one. Not sure if it's just me but their story is just boring and aggravating to me. Definitely still watching it because the main story is really good to this point
There's no uncle not I that I seen any. And fl is such a breath of fresh air, she's very young, full of life.…
she was definitely abused, other than that I agree with your point. She was basically their servant and the aunt saw her as only a payday, not to mention hitting her and throwing a glass bowl full of rice at her head. Granted, it's not just her. The aunt is abusive in general, as shown at the police station (daughter was hit by her to have a huge bruise on her cheek then she starting hitting both son and daughter in the station)
About to start episode 15 and I like it but the story lines are getting confusing. Obviously, Lee Gon changed the past by meeting her multiple times throughout her life which is changing the present but it seems at least to me that the diverging points are making all the previous episodes pointless? Like is Lee Gon just going to come in at that point now and everything that happened never has? Or is their memories of their time together going to be different because there was no animosity at the original meet in his eyes but there was in hers?
Only on episode 5 but does the SML get any better? Like, you treat her as an afterthought constantly and gas light her then decide to basically stalk her when you think another guy is showing interest in her? Like WTF dude
Where the hell did Xia Tian's mom go? She moved in with them then 1 or 2 more episodes and she's just? not? there? Like no word about her or anything, yet at least. The family dynamic is still there (An Ning's mom and grandfather still calling her their grand/daughter and stuff) but she just disappeared
Looking at ML's parents. Dad is paternal goals and Mom is a narcissistic controlling bitch. No wonder they got divorced but I don't know how Dad put up with her ass at all
Kang Da Eul's husband is completely useless!! 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄👿 and his parents are even more usless…
Yeah her and her daughter were amazing. Sad to see such a horrible family connected to them. I was actually rooting for her to divorce him and get with No San Shik lol. The way they had his parents just completely reverse roles and start treating their son the way they treated her was far-fetched but satisfying. I liked all of the "6 siblings" though and the KTL staff once they warmed up to Sa Rang were decent too. The rest of the secondaries were kinda w/e. Also, Sa Rang's grandma was awesome
CEO Wang (the ML's mother) inadvertently caused A LOT of the public relations issues in the drama:1) Forcing the…
IMO yes and no. She helped fix the issue with Cat and Cheng but it was already shown earlier in the show that she has taken on the mediator role on the team when she fixed the argument between Cat and K. The one time Cheng wasn't "perfect" was when he found the box girl and completely fixed that situation and lost due to his hand being messed up. Granted, he should have told the team he couldn't play a long game like the tactic was but he still didn't really mess up. I guess I mean even the time where they did show it he still was more right than wrong

I completely agree with what you're saying but one thing I really wish C-Dramas would do is stop making the ML infallible. I swear every C-Drama I watch every choice the ML makes is the right one, whether it is listened to or not. And not just C-Dramas but really most Asian Dramas seem to have really shitty mothers for at least one of the leads. IMO, the whole infallibility of the MLs is really bad, it causes 0 growth in the characters and makes for awkward/forced story lines where they could have just had FL figure something out for ML instead of the other way around AT LEAST once
The most unrealistic part of this show is having a cool AF uber driver that somehow ALWAYS gets your fares lol. Big ass city and only one uber driver apparently
So I am through 13 and the 2ML is the worst. IMO the ML didn't do anything to him in the first place he is just too narcissistic to realize. All these years later of course your girlfriend still thinks of him when you bring him up in EVERY conversation. All the gas-lighting and abuse he does to the 2FL and gas-light attempts to the FL, telling ML he is going to get with FL just because he realizes ML likes her... the WTF, has to be one of the worst characters I've seen
yura needs to stop accepting roles like this, I swear have seen her play the same role in her last 3 dramas and…
I agree most dramas are like that at least in a way. I know this is only 2 examples but My Roommate is a Gumiho the 2FL was cool af and the 2ML was douchey. Love in Contract the 2ML was borderline stalkerish and the 2FL after realizing she missed her chance was pretty chill. They are out there and becoming more normal, but really, I don't see a need for either 2nd lead to be a pain. I'm sick of love triangles in general and K-Drama writers seem to always use a "one of the 2nd leads is a piece of shit" approach
I'm through 5 so far and I'm torn. it's not bad but to me kind of boring and I'm leaning towards dropping it
I think to me the story is just kinda too jumbled up and can't keep my attention very well. I hate FFing shows and also rewind any missed dialog in case I miss something important and Ep 5 literally took me 3 hours to watch because I kept pausing it to do something else when I got bored and realized I missed a lot of dialogue. The pacing isn't terrible and there are some interesting parts. I can see how people like this show I just don't think its my style. To me, the leads relationship so far is kinda meh, they have funny bickering occasionally and Rowoon does good being over the top in love while being very annoyed by that fact it just isn't a show I personally could recommend

I really feel sorry for JDC although I had always thought of him as the killer, and found it wierd he didn't do…
yeah I think the story his brother told the cops is actually what happened (minus the asking her out part, probably asked her to leave do ha alone). He told his brother what happened entirely so the story could be as true as possible to the cops. 2ML just figured it out because the brother forgot what happened to her clothes
