I'm guessing LJW is Lee Jang Wook, ML of Beyond the Bar. However, it was like 10 years ago, he was found innocent and then on appeal she was found guilty of false accusations. For some reason, there's a lot of people that still think he's guilty.

As far as KSH, I don't know anything recent about it, and I'm holding off my judgement of him until I hear more official news. Right now it's just he said/they said.

I don't know what blackmail happened in the novel, but if it was about Pat and Preem, then no that hasn't happened. She did come to her wedding to ruin it, with proof of Preem's fiance cheating

I noticed there's at least 2 more bodyguard/vip type GLs coming out soon. Wonder why it's such a big trope right now lol. The 2 I saw trailers for look promising, but I'm actually kind of scared to watch them thanks to this lmao

I'm honestly indifferent to the "messed up teens meet again as messed up adults" thing. I don't personally care one way or another, I just think a ridiculously high percentage of KDramas feel the need to add it in when it wouldn't detract from the story without it. Almost to the point where they're saying as an industry that you can't love someone you met as an adult.

As far as My Youth, it's very much necessary, and well done with the high school age leads. I really enjoyed their backstory episode and hope to see more of it because the 2 actors had great chemistry and were cute together. I don't know what the point of adding the grade school one though, like you said they didn't need that to show Hae's difficulties during that time, they had many other ways they could have shown that if the felt the need to. Even having a scene where he just lashes out at Tae Rin or something after she reaches out to him after him being fired from the show they were on.

Also the fact that they had a past connection in high school, then randomly decided to also add another past connection to their grade school days. That was extremely unnecessary imo. The childhood trope is overplayed in general, yet they added 2 to the same couple

I might have missed that director part lol. But yeah, you would definitely think the books would be revived then. I mean think about the show Castle. It became so popular that actual authors wrote Castles books under the pen name of Richard Castle. He was so popular of an author in the show that people started actively seeking out the books IRL and the company provided them

I didn't even think about the inheritance laws. That does add another, actually legal, reason to the issue. Even in places where laws like that don't exist though I can easily see people taking it out on Hae since it was his name being used for the scam and he's the only available target. I meant dumb as in people actually thinking a 13 year old had any part in the scam happening. If anything, he might know but the actual scammer would have obviously obfuscated it where he didn't know it was a scam and it was pretty obvious after the fact that he didn't benefit from it in any way

I just thought of something that doesn't make sense. If Hae's novels were popular enough to merit a 3 movie deal, and the movies were popular enough to make them scramble to save the contract for the final movie, why are his novels out of print after the first printing?

It's dumb, but realistic. His name was attached to it and he was the only visible target. His mother passed and the actual scammer fled the country so he was the only one they could take it out on. He should have fought more back then, but probably had no clue how or desire to since his only real guardian passed. His POS dad should have helped, but of course he wouldn't.

I'm really hope they explain that timeline more. It seems like they had a fling while she was in that town and then she left so he moved on with his life. It didn't sound like they made plans of her coming back. Then she said something about him abandoning his kid for another girl, like he abandoned HER but Seok Ju calls Hae Hyung, so Hae is older so it's not like she was pregnant with Seok Ju when he got together with Hae's mom, and I don't think Seok Ju is even his kid, but it's possible. And if Seok Ju isn't his kid, then she literally has no leg to stand on since she also had another relationship apart from Hae's dad.

Also, Hae didn't move in or ask for anything. She's the one that enrolled him into the school and sent money to him. The only thing he asked was to watch Nu Ri while he was in the military, which isn't even a bad ask since it's his fathers responsibility anyways. If anything she should be grateful that he maintained custody whenever possible of Nu Ri since she didn't want the kid

So you're refusing to watch a show because one of the actresses, who was born in, raised and lived the majority if not all her life in Thailand just happens to have an Israeli father? How does that even make sense? You don't choose your blood, and she isn't Israeli, she's Thai through and through

Sunwoo Hae and Mo Tae Rin have amazing sibling chemistry. I like both couples chemistry, but I think their friend/sibling chemistry is the best in the series

Prem's male friend was pissing me off at the end of part 3. 3 doctors, 2 of which recognized the document as a real medical document "It's obviously fake," call recording of him practically saying he's only marrying her for status and dgaf about his kid "it's obviously AI." Dude, are you Prem's friend or her fiance's coverman?!?

If ever a show should have been a 6-8 episode show, it's this. This is getting really rough and I can't believe there's still another 4 freaking episodes

The credits have her name. She's Nina Jinnita Djadda, but she doesn't have a MDL page, or really anything as far as I can tell, as least not publicized

They even make it obvious, like Shelly doing a late night live by herself and Pundao is right next to her watching a movie. You hear Pundao talk a couple times and then Shelly grabs her hand to wave bye when she was ending stream. Kind of hard imo to call it fan service when it's late at night and Pundao being there but not being a part of the live at all
