Zhi is really just too pure of a person. She's lucky that she hasn't run into too many people that would exploit that fact honestly. It's actually kind of funny, because anything that happens at her she just kind of brushes off or shuts it out, but if you go after anyone she cares about she immediately becomes a lioness and all her niceness and purity disappears until she has them on the ropes. Hopefully, she learns soon to be able to do that for herself as well.
As for YiMing, he's done a complete 180. I am actually starting to like him a bit. I hope he learned from his mistakes and doesn't be a creep to his next interest like he was with Zhi

How did they make them break up? They tried to salvage and keep the leads relationship. Su Jeong was the only cause* for their breakup. The whole meeting to let them know thing was because it's obvious that information has to come to light asap, otherwise it could be completely disastrous
*She had valid reasons, and it didn't last long anyways
I haven't watched it yet either, but I've heard it's a good ending and it's one of the highest rated shows on MDL. That wouldn't happen with a bad (or sad) ending

As screwed up as it is, I think he could be an Olympic gold medalist and it wouldn't matter. I'm willing to bet that his family's net worth is at least 3 zeros too low for her to even consider, at least that's the vibe she gives off

Even with the phone call in the parking lot, I still can't tell whose side Chief Kwon is actually on. They made it look obvious that she was reporting Su Jeong going to his place to the chairwoman, but we didn't actually hear any of the conversation and I think it was done like that purposely to make her look bad
The most unrealistic part of this show to me is the grandma actually being considered a good businesswoman, and the fact that she grew the company so much. The only thing she even remotely cares about is her own ego, and the fact that she'll just fire extremely respected and productive employees on a whim, degrade other chaebol families to their face etc would realistically run her company into the ground.
