I get why he quit, and why his mom doesn't want him to be on the team, but realistically he snowboards and does jumps all winter for fun. I would think that the chance of getting seriously injured is more palateable chasing the dream of the Olympics than it is just for recreation.
If I was his parent and that worried about him getting hurt, I think I would be against him snowboarding at all, not just being on the National Team
I love the show so much, the only thing that bothers me is how wei zhi is still calling shan chong master when…
I just chalked it up to it naturally becoming her pet name for him, just like the shows where the FL calls the ML "Uncle" the whole time. It's no different to me than calling their bf "Ge" in CDramas or "Oppa" in KDramas
Through 13, and I still don't like YiMing, but I do have to give credit where it's due. He realized that they are together and immediately stopped his creepy overbearing bullshit. He even told Chong that he's out and will just be a brother from now on. It remains to be seen that he'll stick with that obviously, but at least he's giving it an attempt. I'm hoping it's not just going to be during his grieving time. If he stays like he is now, then he will be the 2nd best redemption arc of a support character I've seen in a CDrama. First being the coworker in You Are My Secret
It's hilarious how there was just an avalanche and it's been snowing a lot in the area, yet there's a perfectly plowed walking path through the snow for them to follow
My audio keeps randomly switching to Thai on both Youku and iQ, like you said it does sort of shock you and doesn't…
I actually refuse to watch anything dubbed. It always feels so fake to me, and imo is a disservice to the original actors and production because the VA's almost never convey the feelings that the original does through speaking.
I forget which show, it was like 8 years ago or so, but I remember my sister hating a show I loved, convinced her to try ep 1 without dubbing and she binged the whole drama in a day
the best part is with the childhood connection. She wasn't even really questioning that or anything. She saw similarities a couple times, but dismissed them. He just flat out told her who they were to each other instead of keeping it from her
I desperately want to know what happened 6 years ago between Mi Gyeong and Ki Se, and even if it turns out it wasn't his fault, I would still despise him.
I also think it's super weird that he has an employee stalking his exwife. I get that he's high ranking at the company, but she's the chairmans daughter and CEOs sister. There's absolutely no way I would go anywhere near that assignment, especially since he's one of the few that know they aren't married anymore. Why hitch your wagon to the outsider over the chaebol family you work for?
Having just watched Ep 12, I feel I have to re-iterate how obnoxious Yi Ming's stalking attitude towards Wei Zhi…
Agree with all, but 1 correction. It was said earlier in the show that he's been away for 8 years, so she was 17ish when he left. Still ridiculous and disgusting, but at least he wasn't pining over a middle school aged girl
1. I really do have to check my brain at the coat check, but this show is purposely over the top, so I'm kinda…
1) agree 2) my assumption is he likes her because she is similar to him in being a good worker and headstrong, while also being his "anti" if that makes sense 3) I think she will be around more later, right now she probably isn't on screen a lot because her promise to be "invisible" to ML and I would have liked to see some of their "date," but I don't think either her or FLs brother are interested in each other, they both just wanted their favorite beer and that date was just a plot point to make OngJu jealous 4) ex deserves nothing imo, except fired maybe. Everyone says he sucks at his job, and he's only that high because of who he married 5) Shit, I want to know what happened between them lmao
It could be translation errors or something, but I doubt it. It sounds more like he doesn't even respect her choices, he basically tells her her career is nothing more than a hobby and thinks she's not good at making choices, but he doesn't care and will let her do w/e as long as she accepts him. It's so infuriating to me
