I just watched Happiness (finally) and feel like she is playing the same part in this.

Could be wrong, but I am definitely getting con artist/psychopath vibes from her, even before I watched Happiness.

And she isn't using her aunts name just because they look similar. She knows her aunt isn't officially proclaimed dead and is the only name she can think of to use as her day identity. If the family actually registered the missing, presumed dead paperwork, she wouldn't have used her aunts identity

It's very possible, at least to me, that the news article is what causes the aunt to return. You are right that she would be the only living person other than the 3 who know would know. I'm guessing that the aunt saw that article later, like maybe she navers herself every couple weeks or something to stay ahead of the killer and Dr. Would explain why it's been a couple weeks and she still hasn't shown up.

I think she would more be interested in who took her identity, and possibly warning said person it's not an identity you want to assume due to the killer. I don't see her sending the letters though, because I think if she were to appear, she would at least do a cursory investigation before trying to out Mi-Jin and would see her go consistently to her sisters house. Even if she doesn't see the transition, the fact that she goes to her family's home all the time with nothing happening to them I think she would confront "Lim Sun" over secretly sending letters to the DA

I like this theory and hope it happens, he offs Ji Hwan's dad and goes to prison for it. Neatly wraps up all the antagonists and it also makes sense seeing how Ji Hwan's dad treats him and his aggressive thought process.

I think the car thing was a spur of the moment drunken idea and the following day when he officially gifted the car was more him just sticking to his promises. Like, if he didn't get drunk and hand over the key, he wouldn't have given her the car the following day

They hinted it. Never outright said anything, but all her scenes she was struggling with something and then when IY confessed the 2nd time, she said she thinks she wants to keep it.

So I think she was struggling on whether to keep it or not and decided then or slightly before their conversation that she was keeping it

For the longest time I felt that the Director being the bad guy was too forced, then it actually showed him in contact with the acid attacker and the guard that killed? him, idk it seems like he was responsible for acid attackers death. So I started to question myself and the writers.

Then I started thinking he was the supplier and not the killer, which turned out to be right, I just didn't understand the connection to Lim Sun until they revealed it. I too think they made it way too obvious he was the bad guy for so long that if it was him, it would have just been extremely lazy writing. There's no twists when you out the BBEG in EP 2

The craziness in her job at the start is all kind of a one-off. It all just happens to set the story up. Don't worry, it doesn't continue like that.

even though I liked the more filler-ey scenes, I wish they cut about 20 minutes of them out to give us a more complete ending. It seemed VERY rushed compared to the rest of the drama

I'm confident that those letters are about the cleaner intern, not Lim Sun. Ko Won, knowing that Lim Sun is actually Mi-Jin, just assumes the letters are about her.

It's going to come to light that cleaner lady has some secret before the end of the show I'm sure. I'm also pretty sure that it isn't a big town, so the odds of the aunt hiding there for 20+ years while her family, the doctor and probably the killer are searching for her with 0 clues at all is a stretch to me. If the show was based in Seoul, I could see that being more realistic, but the odds are that if she is alive (I think she is as well) she is somewhere far from that town

I think it was more using the opportunity. He didn't want him there, but since he was he decided to use him for intel. It's not like he convinced DH or pulled strings to get him into Thirsty Deer, DH did that himself

I really don't get the issue with Ye-Na being at the bar. Yeah, she is a public figure for kids, but she is a grown adult calmly drinking a beer and not bothering anybody. Everyone taking pictures of her and staring at her because she is there is just weird. It's not like she is even drunk or acting rowdy

On ep 6 and they really made the "smart" people the dumbest people in the complex. The lawyer and doctor are just about brainless. Especially the lawyer, dudes in his own little world and thinks everyone but him is wrong and a fool

all true except he didn't tell her who he was, just that he knows who he is. Even that though was probably because of his ethics and was enough for her

2ml likes her and confesses around e10. she turns him down immediately though saying she likes ml. it's there but not in your face, most scenes are fl with ml and the brothers
