Absolutely same situation, dropped after 2nd episode. It's cringe, nothing to compare to "marry my husband".Can't…
I love both shows and am not in the it'll get better later crowd minus the first episode. ep 1 imo is super soap-ey and I always told people at least try ep 2. Imo if you don't like ep 2, then you won't like the rest of it
Telling people they need to see 5+ episodes to really appreciate a show is asinine imo. That is a huge time commitment already. not liking the first hour but trying the 2nd isn't a big ask, especially since if you aren't feeling ep 2, it's only an extra 10-15 minutes instead of ah extra 5 hours
During a rewatch I'm super confused/curious how her ex got all the way to such a high position. It shows him as a guy with no backbone and probably has never had an original thought in his life, yet he is chief of staff of a successful company? Even the work conversations he acts utterly clueless on what to do. They should have had him as middle management at best for it to make sense imo
I’m just curious: Is it possible for someone or something to change an introverted person like Tae Goo? His…
everyone actually changes throughout life. your Meyers Briggs results are commonly different at different ages. Quickly, not really, but over time yes you can become more I or E. If you are extreme either, you might move more center but won't actually switch completely barring trauma or something
it depends. In a way MDL because asian dramas usually get more votes here than imdb. I could be an exception, but kdramas here are usually pretty close to what I would rate them at. IMDb I usually see kdramas lower rated, but they also have way less votes.
That being said, there's a lot of specific idol/actor fans and haters on this site that will majorly upvote and downvote due to casting, a lot of times with multiple accounts too.
Overall, I think MDL is better, especially for KDramas. C, J and T Dramas don't seem to have the same user base here, so a 1 rating from just a couple people can drastically sway a rating on them
I'm ALSO wondering why he always seems to find her at her parents' house??? The past few eps she's been staying…
The guy that the Director paid to follow her even said something along the lines of she comes to this house about half the time instead of going home to her apartment lol. It's crazy that everytime anyone goes looking for her, she just happened to actually go home that day
Can someone please explain the timeline for me here? I'm fully confused. How is Mijin a witness for Ko Naheun's…
Their only interaction before she started changing during the day was when she got scammed. She was in the area walking with the papers and almost got ran over when she stupidly stopped in the middle of the road to read them. The car that almost hit her was the killer. He was about to get out of the car, probably to kill her as well, but the ML showed up so he drove off. That was how the ML got the license plate end numbers that just so happened to be the same as the Directors, which made him a suspect.
At this point, I am convinced that ML will not know her secret until either a) the finale or b) after the case is solved and the curse is lifted. They are dragging that reveal out so bad in this show.
Some thoughts on Ep 12.. - She's in a hospital, why did they put her in an ambulance? To lap around the building or something? lol - I figured about 5 episodes ago that the Director wasn't the killer, and figured he was the drug supplier. Turns out I was right, but didn't really expect the link to Lim Sun - I don't think anything is going to happen between the investigator and her bff. The crush scene was only for comedic effect imo, and she was about gagging the next day when she realized. I have a feeling she is going to wind up being Ko Won's end game, but I hope they don't go that route because he lost all my respect when he was stalking Mi-Jin - Other lady intern is sus af, and has been to me for a while. And it appears the retired detective is starting to agree with me - I didn't see the investigator being scammed coming, but it's pretty on brand for him lol - Does ML check upstairs first? It seems like she spends roughly 50% of her nights at her bffs, but he always looks for and finds her at home. He's either super lucky or checking at her friends first - That teaser... So we had 12 episodes with a love triangle between FL and the 2 MLs, with another prosecutor that obv likes the ML but never acted on it. Now that they are together, that prosecutor decides to flat out chase after him? We JUST got to the end of a love triangle, why throw a new one in this late into the show? It's going to annoy the f out of me, I'm sure
I thought it might be about doctor but this lady is also suspicious
Yeah, it was an easy miss. I only remember seeing it once, and the subtitles only had it on screen for like 2 seconds. I was just letting you know so you can theorize :)
Btw, if the prosecutor’s mom is actually missing and was not killed, do you think she could be that pretty senior…
I agree 100%. They would have had interactions like Yi-Joo and her cooking teacher mom in Perfect Marriage Revenge. Even if neither knew, they would be drawn to each other in the show
I love the investigator character and he has a lot of funny scenes, but I am kinda getting tired of him going back and forth between smart, competant investigator and clumsy, incompetant spaz
They should have had an actual ending instead of leaving it open like that. Korean shows rarely get a second season in my experience and the writers usually wrap it up nicely. It would have been a better ending imo if VP Han actually had any form of punishment.
Another thought about the finale that imo was sloppy writing is Ji-Soo's excuse to their son on why he never met him. It's nice that she painted him in a mostly good light, but just how busy does he have to be to never even meet his son? You, as a mom, go on months long business trips so it's not like you aren't extremely busy yourself and are more able to give time to your kid
It's kinda annoying to me that they know VP is bad and know he has many overly loyal people working there yet they continue having strategy meetings at work. A lot of times in the common areas. If they do actually use a room, they leave the damn door open. Do they have no concept of secrecy? They also always have 1, maybe 2 of them working late alone. They KNOW he's killed people before, and for way less than conspiring against him. It's not like he doesn't know they are. Both MLs flat out told him they are coming after him
I'm teen and I still can't see SML i positive light. He acts more like a creep. Following her around all the time…
Exactly this. He was giving her those increasingly difficult tasks expecting her to just say something like "you're nuts" and quit. It showed at the start that he didn't treat the younger assistants any better really so even though he is ageist, at least at the start, he is just a mean boss in general. Once he realized just how good Lim Sun is, he immediately changed his tune and treats her respectfully and basically as an equal
