in awe with Bando Ryota's performance. Beyond credible.

Last episode some pretty deep moments. Mitzuo and Sakiko's parting scene with all the pathos of people who have cared for each other during a long time. The insect scene at the end which shows her growth as an independent woman, the hanabi scene and posterior chat which gives imo the direction the relationship will take. All in all a beautiful wrap up.One thing that does not seem clear to me is the relationship between book guy and Azusa .

Understandable that she wants to break up. She's been walking on eggshells ever since they went back together.It takes too much effort on both sides to be together . Everything sort of flows with Sonoda and they don't have a history of betrayal
As for the hole in the filter my thoughts:the filter traps lint which can be annoying on clothes. Once there's s hole the lint can't be contained inside. It serves as a metaphor of their relationship.

My suggestion watch the first 3 and the last 3 eps if you may. You get the story withou the bloatware and countless annoyances. You can skip this drama altogether and your life won't be shortened.

This goes to show that the members of the academy that give the Oscars have s pretty narrow scope. How can a performance like Yoshizawa's get bypassed and the movie got the makeup award. Yes the makeup can impress the uncouth.
The training both Ml received in order to be convincing onnagata is impressive. We might miss things in their impersonation, but for the japanese, who raved about the movie, must have been beyond convincing.
I liked the acting within the acting actors acting their roles and the onnagata roles like a reverse 4th wall. Imo that's direction . This move has elements to become a classic.

Forever grateful that Netflix is picking up asadoras. Almost at the end of this one was curious since it bombed with low ratings . Although i didn't learn much from this one as for example Tora ni tsubasa or Mampuku , I found it an enjoyable enjoyable watch.
