nope, this is completely different. the original novels for both are by the same author, though, so the fantasy and business elements are the only similarities.

the comedy and plot, though? legitimately top tier for me. 10/10 for both. i had high hopes for this drama when it was announced, but i was a little concerned when i saw that the penthouse writer was to be the showrunner here. however, i’m very pleased to say that this drama is amazing so far. the plot moves quickly with no filler moments and the comedy is never overbearing. each episode ends at a perfect scene that makes you highly anticipate the next episode, and the acting is phenomenal, too.
