I think people are just spoiled for choice when it comes to dramas/movies and thats why people whine about every single thing. People want a drama to be super customized to suit their personal tastes and sensitivities.It's no longer just having a preference for certain genres like romcoms, romance melodramas, thrillers etc.
People now demand dramas use or not use certain kinds of speech, outfits, gender heroes, storylines, cater to their sociopolitical leanings, ambiguous racial sensitivities and culture wars in any given genre. Pity the poor directors, producers and actors who get their hard work cancelled for some "ambiguous" cultural, gender, racial or religious slight.Or worse ,for not sticking strictly to comedy when the source material has to deviate and add some melodrama.
I fear that all this will stifle creativity to the point we are left with dull, lifeless and non spontaneous works of art that do not mirror humanity.
Or we will evolve to an era of purely interactive movies and dramas where we create our individual dramas/movies.This of course will intellectually and socioculturally isolate us even more, and lead to less human creativity.

Some of you love to talk crap ,insult others and act like Eunwoo stole your spot .. No he acts well. he has tons of fans who enjoy his acting .i enjoy his acting ,its okay for me. If you don't like his acting ,go watch something else rather than insulting him and insulting his fans.Are you in the hearts of millions of his fans to say we are pretending? who named you acting expert? how many dramas have you directed or produced? Why did people think that a fantasy web toon with past lives, revenge, curses, murder, heartbreak, jealousy, mythical creatures ,love etc would be adapted into a fluffy romcom ? I hear people say they want the fluffy rom com back but who sold them that fluffy romcom story? How on earth does the writer tie up the story without some angst?
The story is doing just fine. Thinking it would be a fluffy romcom was erroneous and wishful thinking especially if you read the web toon.

Basically you want a "write me my own version of the script". The ML isn't supposed to be a hero or save the FL. The focus of the drama is actually on the FL, she is the heroine and it's about how she navigates and thrives in a misogynistic culture without needing a man to save her.
lastly if you had watched it properly instead of fast forwarding through and then coming to an ignorant conclusion, you would have realized that the prince not knowing how to do some basic stuff was by design .It was on the orders of the king because the king needed him to be "useless" so he wouldn't challenge him.
