How do you know what roles he actually gets ? He was given a role in bulk ,a crime drama which he rejected. was he acting as an idol in decibel and island? y'all love to just spew non factual stuff on social media and you obviously know nothing about the sorts of roles he gets. he is a grown man and can choose whatever role he wants and feels comfortable doing. No actor has a buffet of roles to pick from ,at the end of the day acting is also a business and actors have to make decisions that will benefit them artistically and commercially.
Lastly, seems pretty asinine to me to feel sorry for a 26 yr old rich multimillionaire with a lot of fame.Eunwoo is living the life most people only dream about .Trust me lots of people would gladly exchange roles with him.

That's a lie. Eunwoo's first lead drama was in 2018 and since then he's done just 3 dramas . thats 4 dramas since 2018.

Why should we accept anything you say if we don't agree with you? You can scream from here to high heavens that his acting is not good and insult him,but he's still getting lead roles, popular dramas ,40 million fans just on instagram and is one of the highest paid idols in korea. He has 15 product endorsements just for 2023 ,multiple magazine photoshoots,luxury brands Christian Dior,Burberry ,Chaumet and big food brands like Subway,Dunkin donuts etc.
Obviously your overblown screaming,shouting and insulting isn't making a dent in his success because he is that loved.
Eunwoo fans have never claimed he is a perfect actor or the best actor,he started as an idol and we know he is still learning but y'alls incessant and overblown hate, insults and refusal to even acknowledge anything positive in his acting is why we shoot back.
Y'all act like you know better than the director and experts he has worked with,despite the fact that you've probably never set your eyes on any original script or acting set. Lots of us actually love his portrayal of these Tsundere roles in his romcoms .Some of us watch dramas to be entertained not to write a thesis on acting and hyper judge every muscle that moves on an actor's body.

You do sound upset at him getting love. I can spot your type miles away, you claim to be a critic but your criticism is tinged with jealousy. You attribute his success to only his looks,claim the drama is doing badly and claim you saw 400 bad comments. Well there are more than 2000 comments here mostly loving this drama, its 8.5 on this site,drama is #1 on viki in more than 90 countries and #1 on netflix korea.
Maybe it's because your criticism is overblown and you fail to even see what he does right in the drama.
Lastly he has done Island,rookie historian ,decibel,hit the top .......these are all dramas where he had non stoic and varied roles . A quick search on this very site will show you these dramas but no ,you only care for the ones where you can bash him.One thing common with so called "critics" is y'all only want to talk about GB and TB.You will never discuss his other dramas where he acts different roles.Y'all keep repeating the same "he needs to do other roles" but will never bother to watch those other roles .Why ?

You think i'm being aggressive ,i'm laughing. i would honestly prefer people who say i don't like eunwoo's acting ,period .But the people who say they love him but can only comment negatively on GB and TB,they've never watched any other drama besides GB and TB where he acts cold roles, so it makes me wonder. if you truly love him why haven't you seen island,decibel,big hit ,rookie historian ? because his roles in these dramas are totally different from his cold roles and they are different genres.
Its ok not to like his cold characters in tb and Gb ,but pls tell me why haven't you watched the other dramas since he's someone you love?even a cursory glance on his page here will show you a list of his other dramas. his last drama/movie wasn't even TB but y'all stay focused on Tb and GB.

Thats a lie though. A quick search on this page will show you other genres that he has done with "different hairstyles". y'all just love to lie and exaggerate. secondly it's a webtoon adaptation and that's how the male lead is written.

At least we are making progress. so you admit he has done more than just cold roles.In what world do you lump a kpop idol role and a priest role as similar? He did lots of action sequences in Island and the genres are totally different. He also acted a different role in rookie historian which is a totally different genre.
You ask of him stuff you dont require of others.it's your bias speaking. He isn't even a full time actor and is still quite young but you expect him to have done many "diverse" roles. He is 26 .part time actor ,full time kpop idol,part time model and with a few tv shows.

Keep shifting the goalpost when i call out your lies. we are specifically talking about his acting not if he is a lead or not or if the drama succeeded or not .And no he wasn't cameo in decibel,he had a small but very important role in the drama .In fact the actions of the male lead are predicated on eunwoo's character's relationship with the male lead .
Whatever role an actor plays is all part of his repertoire not only lead roles .There is a reason actors win awards for supporting roles,they are also important .Go take a seat.

The criticism is excessive . he basically does same stuff like lots of k actors but he gets criticized. Some people here are even criticizing his hairstyle, meanwhile so many kactors ...male/females have similar hairstyles in multiple dramas . I've never heard of a popular kactor being criticized for having very basic korean hairstyle but here we are.
They have no interest in watching his dramas where he plays a non cold character but will keep talking about him 'diversifying his roles".
And don't get me started on the claims that the only reason he has millions of fans is because of his looks, while with the next breath they'll claim he isn't even that good looking, but For some reason they keep hate watching his dramas. The absurd part of it is, some of them show so much anger towards his fans for liking him and even insult us and call us names.It's honestly tedious. We just want to watch him in peace.
If you don't like him why watch his dramas and give yourself and everybody a headache.

If u really loved him you'd know the timeline btw this drama and his band mate's death .it's also in very poor taste to bring up his grp mates death and relate it to his acting.
