He is playing a cold character and he is nailing it . in his interactions with seojun he is not mad at seojun despite seojun punching him ,that's why he doesn't look so angry because he understands why seojun is angry and he doesn't punch seojun.in fact he is slightly teary after seojun confronts him in the sports hall .
could he emote a bit more ?maybe but he is playing a cold character that hardly speaks to anyone in school.
In his scene with his dad you can see him dripping with cold contempt for his dad.
