I make a typo mistake, it not season 3 it was season 4, there a post on reddit show the rating all the previous eps and none of those eps reach 1%. And I wrote about opportunity after the show was over. Season 3 was release on 2023 and spin off was 2025. clearly there was a year gap due to the blacklash after the show. Even it was renew, how many ppl will apply? BLTS have over 17k applicant, even one of cast from season 2 said she been offered to join Heart Signal but her mom told her go to BLTS. Even her mom also knew HS is decline.

The ratings for season 5 is way beyond abysmal, it didn't even reach 1%. Channel A is a cable television, if any show that get 1% rating for cable tv is good enough but for the current season the highest was 0.6%. And this will definitely will affect the cast, let me explain how? Season 3, the show begins with 0.5% and ended with 2.3%, the spin-off heart pairing, started with 0.7% and ends with 0.9% but somewhere in the middle it does get 1.1%. Season 4 cast the most ig follower is Jumi with nearly 500k, the least follower was 30k. The spin-off, the most follower with 200k and the least is 26k. With ratings below 1% you can imagine how many follower will they get.

Maybe some don't care about ig follower you just care about who's ends with who?, but it also about opportunity. Take example Heart Pairing, when it aired HP gained buzzworthy Jimin and Jeyeon name always appeared on Fundex Gooddata and I thought it will seals any ig ad for them but Better Late Than Single(BLTS) happened, BLTS aired 1 week after HP ends. BLTS capture not only Korean audience but also international, when BLTS over most that belong to HP goes to BLTS. ELLE photoshoot, Bazaar interviewers, ig ads, event invitations. And now same thing happen again,HP just focus on 1 couple, HS5 also too focusing on 1 couple. if you go to Jeyeon ig, her latest post is about food at emarts, if you go to Jisu her latest post about face serum. Jiyeon from BLTS recent post, said some of the money she make from advertising will go to donation. It been nearly a year the BLTS cast still able to make some money doing ig ads, that is what I meant about opportunity.

I don't know what was pds thinking maybe all of this part of the team strategy, and clearly it will cost the cast or he maybe the pds didn't care at all about the cast as long they get 1% ratings. And I glad many ppl call pds out for what they did with GY, honestly there is no such thing as reduces screen time, its either edit her out completely or you don't. If the show ends with below 1%, it will be the pds own fault, they are not some newbie, they are exprience pds, they already done the whole kdating show since 2017 nearly 10 years of expriences.

Pride and Prejudice. The pds claimed the season 5 theme is Pride and Prejudice, at first I thought it all about egoism then I realize.

Pride and Prejudice is also about Mr.Bingley and Jane Bennet. Mr.Bingley is as joyful person, social butterfly, kind heart person. Some compared Mr. Bingley to golden retriever. Does that remind of you to some one?

I haven't watch the latest eps but I did saw some clip, especially the date between gy and wy, wy said he feel gy have a wall in front of her. SEE!!!! because she value herself and also trying to protect herself from getting hurt. That why I believe Sw COULD the person that gy will tear down the wall.

Here's the thing I don't understand about Wy. Both Gy and Wy are hoping to go on date together, the 1st official date is the book date, the girls pick the book and go a date with book owner, and Gy thought the book she choose is belong to Wy but it turned out to be Sw. And Yg the one choose Wy book so both of them going on date. 2nd official date is the first day in Japan, the male have to choose with female, he want to have a date with. Wy choose Yg, Wy always said he need 3 dates to know what he feeling toward the person. Should he choose Gy back then, compare to Sw. he choose Minju and he explain his decision because he haven't spend much time with her but Wy he already have dated with Yg and sitting next to Yg on the plane to Japan. Logically, he suppose to choose Gy but he didn't. for me this is the moment where's Wy started playing pride game.

During truth game Gy said she won't stop anyone trying to pursuit her, some called Gy a liar during the truth game, they says after she have a book date with Sw she text Wy and cried because of Wy. Yes, that is true but that is also before Japan. IF the first day date in Japan Wy choose Gy, then her answer the best date so far she could the first day date in Japan with Wy, but since Wy openly choose Yg infront of everyone as his first day date in Japan and have to gave up because he goes against to men he back off and choose Gy unwillingly. If you on Gy shoes will you choose the first day date in Japan with Wy as memorable date? And here another thing, Yg most memorable date is with Wy after the movie and that not even an official date, so what is Yg most memorable official date?

As I mention before Gy value herself first and she won't stop anyone trying to pursuit her but everything might change especially after the bowling match. We can see clearly her espression when Sw and Sy are in one team,Gy and Sw already have 3 offcial dated, the book date, 2nd day in Japan date and a nickname date ( didn't show), all the dated have one thing in common, respect and boundaries. Despite Sw had this non-chalatant attitude he still respect Gy and Gy set a boundaries as we know she value herself, during their 2nd date in Japan Sw cover his hand with his sleeves and offer it to Gy to hold while crossing the suspension bridge, its like she put a wall in front of her. Back to bowling match, Gy saw Sy's way of flirting fun and a lots of physical touch. I'm pretty sure 99% the ferris wheel date is between Gy and Sw and we might see Gy wall tear down.

Well, i guess the show practically over right? Thank god Better Late Than Single will be air next month.

I actually agree with panelist regarding Seugmin and Yg dated, there is no spark. Maybe because of age different, and personalities wise also not a good match. I hope he get to explore other girls, while for JH, this is his 2nd date with Sy and based on trailer he will have a date with Yg, I love to see how does it goes. Rumors is there will be 3 dates in Japan, and will shaken things up. And lastly I wonder why there is no official cast poster?

So the reason why Gyuri send a text to WY because of the brown shirt. That give the final catfish about 5 days or 4 days if doesn't count final day which is a decision day to pursuit a person their have interest. Right now, it will be the cast 3rd day in Japan, 1st day a travel date, 2nd day female ex date and upcoming male ex date. If the show introduce a final catfish it would be on the 3rd night in Japan, the final catfish only have at least 2 days to pursuit a person she interest. And not just that, there will be a truth game, what would the final catfish do? sitting there quietly?
