No, he doesn't speak English in the drama, he actually speaks Chinese in there. But let me warn you: the drama is very disappointing - or so I thought, given the great cast. Sorry, I almost fell prey to the need to discuss things with you, but I don't want to spoil your watch.

P.S. Mr Brain is a riot! Not so much for the plot, but for the characters and the dialogues. Kimura is amazing and Haruka is wonderfully funny. She's very versatile, I like her a lot. :)
