First, I think u meant MXX, not MDD. I can totally understand ur thinking on how Dong Dong have been by Xiao Xiao’s side all those seven years when Xiao Jian is away but then again, everything done by Dong Dong was completely of his own free will. He knows clearly the risk of continuing to chase after her and that it might end up being pointless or probably successful since Xiao Jian is not there anymore. Xiao Xiao does not see Dong Dong any other than as an amazing friend and a brother. Dong Dong did not wanted to go on blind dates and kept pursuing Xiao Xiao was his decision, not Xiao Xiao’s fault. It just my opinion, Dong Dong is a super kind and easygoing person but I dont see any chemistry between Dong Dong and Xiao Xiao as lovers. Dong Dong should have move on already to find someone who will truly love him rather caging himself only to Xiao Xiao, like Zeng Hang. As for Xiao Jian, he does really loved Xiao Xiao but with that huge amount of bad luck that the writer gave to Xiao Jian and the situations he’s in, he have limited ability to do whatever he wants and to keep pursuing the love of his life. T_T Everytime he was about to settle down for a peaceful love life and was at his happiest moment in his life, something bad have to happen for goodness sake. Why why?! Why does the writers have to make it so difficult for Xiao Xiao and Xiao Jian to love each other peacefully but makes Xiao Jian’s life more and more difficult?! Almost everytime he had to get hurt and always in pain. Now he lost his grandma and then he lost the cop he worked under with. Why does Xiao Jian have to suffered so badly and lost one after another of those who he cared for and loved?! Trying to not get other people involved or worried including Xiao Xiao, he decided to keep everything to himself and create so much misunderstandings between him and the other people and Xiao Xiao T_T With so many misunderstandings between the two lovers and although he really loved Xiao Xiao, he decided to let go of Xiao Xiao’s hand and set her free because he believed that is the best for her so that she does not have to suffered with him. He know that keeping her by his side will make her go through sufferings although he wished he could change the situations he’s in and give her happiness. T_T He decided to leave Mayang Street to protect those people and not get them tangle up in the mess that he’s trying to solve and to seek justice for. T_T why does life and the writers have to be so harsh on Xiao Jian?! It is almost impossible for Xiao Jian to freely breathe and be free of the burdens or be free to love Xiao Xiao. He wanted to seek justice/revenge for his grandma and cop and proved to the world that the grandma’s grandson (which is himself) is a good person and did not sell illegal goods or break the laws. He have to carry so much within himself T_T Completely different from Dong Dong, Xiao Jian cannot freely be at Xiao Xiao’s side and look after her. Dong Dong, on the other hand, can freely chase after Xiao Xiao and stay by her side to take after her and her family but it’s impossible for Xiao Jian T_T Everytime I think of or see Xiao Jian in pain and that he had to carry so much weight on his shoulders, I would cried til my eyes are red and swollen. Been a while that I haven’t cried so badly over a character T_T I can see that this drama gonna make Dong Dong and Xiao Xiao be together at the end and i might not see their chemistry beside Xiao Xiao and Xiao Jian, all I really wished and wanted right now is that Xiao Jian can moved on and be happy at the end. T_T T_T T_T Deeply in my heart, Xiao Jian and Xiao Xiao are always meant to be together whether they are childhood sweethearts or not T_T

Yes! This drama is very good! There will be many sad parts though. Also there are happy parts too. I also came because Li Jian Jian (aka Seven Tan). I’m gonna watch through it all despite the sadness lol.

Same here! I loved Ou Xiao Jian so much and wanted him to be happy so badly!!! He had to endured so much himself and not tell his loved ones because it would make them more worried about him. Keeping everything and all the pain he suffered to himself, there comes so much misunderstandings between him and Ma Xiao Xiao, who really cared so much about him and his safetyT_T. All I wish is for him to end up happy and free to enjoy what he want to enjoy T_T

There are quite many time skips in this drama. Sorry that I can’t remember everyone of them. The most prominent one or the one that I really remember is the one that happens around 30 min in of ep 25 after the male lead was put into jail for some special reasons and the female lead’s father was hospitalized and got an illness. Two years have passed since then and finally the male lead came out of jail and return home at around 30 min in of ep 25. During those two years with the absence of male lead, the second male lead was helping the female lead to take care of her father and at the same time kept pursuing the female lead.

I actually really like the drama. I finished it:) the ending is sad. I actually really like Luo Yi Tong’s acting so much and loved how he played the two identical brothers ❤️. I believe it’s a drama worth to watch hehe

Fine I won’t. I will watch every episode for my fav actress Seven Tan and my recently favorite actor Timmy Xu and buy 10 boxes of tissues just in case. You and I will watch the whole drama together. T_T

Omg! What?! I’m gonna cry if the female lead end up with second male lead T_T I shipped Ma Xiao Xiao and Ou Xiao Jian so badly. If they don’t end together, I’m gonna cry a freakin river. Probably going to drop this drama if the Ma Xiao Xiao does not end up with Ou Xiao Jian to save my boxes of tissues and my tears and my heartT_T
