2025 has been a year of family/romance dramas for me

the OST isn't anything outstanding, but it is better than the kpop that plays in most period idol dramas :) I like when there is mostly instrumental music in period dramas otherwise it feels too modern. Initially this drama didn't really interest me because I'm not such a fan of jin se yeon's acting, but she isn't so bad in this. (I'm on episode 4)

I know this is fictional, but around which time is this set in?
it says the sisters (fl) were born in 1895 or so.. but wouldn't that mean this is already 1910s.. does that make sense? i don't know 🤷‍♀️
