Noo I think the pfp change was unnecessary. He looked majestic in the previous one. This one isn’t bad, but it looks more like a card photo to me, kinda flat and stiff. But he does look good in every picture tho :)

The new profile picture looks like it was taken at an event, not from a photoshoot. The previous one was better imo.

Agreed, she was really good in The Tale of Nokdu too. The hate she’s getting is so unnecessary. And we’re only 4 episodes in 🤷🏻‍♀️

Lol, you’re right, his photos really don’t do him justice. I think he looks much better in videos. Plus, most of his photoshoots are way too fancy to use as an MDL profile pic, so we don’t have many options to choose from.

I think it’s always challenging for actors to transition from mini dramas to long-form ones. She might still be known mainly for mini dramas, but she’s definitely one of the top actors in that area. That said, I’ve noticed she’s starting to appear in long-form dramas like The Demon Hunter’s Romance and Reopen My Journals, even if it’s just in supporting roles, it's still a good sign of growth.

Agreed! HN is such a great character and KSH is really stepping out of her comfort zone with this role. I don’t get the comments saying her character is boring or that her acting is bland. I think she’s doing a great job. Also, only two eps have aired so far, it’s way too early to judge.

I enjoyed the first two episodes, even with the long runtime. Hopefully, it keeps up this pace and doesn’t slow down :)

I skipped the second couple’s scenes, but I still enjoyed it and gave it a 7.5. It was actually slightly better than I expected. Not something I’d rewatch, but it was pretty cute.

I was bothered by her accent too, she’s Taiwanese but trying to speak with a Mainland Chinese accent and as a Chinese myself, it stood out to me.
