i mostly like enemies to lovers and grumpy x sunshine type. I prefer angst as in push and pull or them being enemies and kinda forbidden smth but not extremely heavy emotional angst like in ITSAY. I've enjoyed SkyPrapai's story in LITA, gunYotha in perfect 10 liners, cherry magic thai, Reset (the yearning was so good), the heart killers and me and thee (kinda in a fun type chem), otherwise obv KinnPorsche and Bad Buddy are worth the hype.
thankyou! most of these are japanese right? do you have some thai bls as well? i've watched all the popular ones (kinnporsche, wicked game, bad buddy, Perfect 10 liners, lita, tharntype, reset, my stand in, topform, etc) so i would love if you suggest some really good bl that have amazing chemistry and are just so good.
This is truly the best cbl out there, nothing compares and no one can change my mind at all. Like everything was so perfect. THE OTHER ONES DON'T EVEN EVOKE ANY FEELINGS AND ARE IDK FLAT? Why are they not making good bls?
Abo desire and to my shore were so confusing and had 0 chemistry
Dude trust me, i know people say that skyPrapai's story is sooo red and blah blah but it's not???!! I'm baffled…
I've seen people label him as naive or whaterr, tbh i watched their scenes just for the fun, i wasn't that invested because their story had no plot, it was just normal push and pull stuff happening between them with lots of sex scenes, that's it. You can chalk that up with just having crush on eavh other and then boom love. YOU CAN just skip those 7 episodes if you want to, too much cliche, and at episode 8 it will start from prapai's story. I can't explain all the feelings, like it was just so good. I'm not the biggest fan of peat though, but i just lovvvvee fort. At first he was relentlessly pursuing sky even after he said no (hence why people just call him a red flag and move o ), like bros have you ever seen an actual red flag? Besides, the start f their story had its moments but trust me, it becomes SO GOOD. prapai is just SUCHHHHH A GOOD PERSON THAT UGHH. I really hope you watch it and like it
Love the drama, but I don’t understand why in all the series where he has a main role, he always ends up with…
Exactly, like even though i adore skyPrapai's story, it's mostly because of prapai and i havent watched any of the show love sea and yesterday (i skimmed) because of um sky. Like, as an actor i DONT find him good at all. Like, there is just something that i don't feel like watching. I dont like noeul as well but i am willing to watch crazy love moo moo, but definitely not other shows by sky. I really wish prapai's ship is changed which is VERY UNLIKELY, tbh i am not hating or anything but i feel like a lot of thai ships have so much potential but they are just stuck with the same actor. Some have undeniably good chemistry and while skyPrapai do have that as well, it's just my personal bias here. I want thai actors with new pairings as it gives yk more feels
I am in a bind :((( I saw bts of the second couple and really wanna watch something they are in. And with a racer/bike…
Dude trust me, i know people say that skyPrapai's story is sooo red and blah blah but it's not???!! I'm baffled by the amount of people who just throw around extreme words carelessly as if it sums up everything. There is stalking involved but it wasn't that extreme stalking or something, it was more like he was pursuing sky relentlessly even when sky told him not to. Fine, it's a red flag though but prapai's character is THE GREENEST FLAG. THAT MAN IS SO DOWN BAD AND i swear skypai's story is so so so much better than rainphayu, because it has proper emotional development and plot. It was just so good and omg you'll love it sm after watching it. IT IS A BIT DARKER IN THEMES BECAUSE OF SKY'S PAST TRAUMA.
This isn’t the most toxic drama I’ve seen from Thai productions, and that includes the straight dramas too…
Tbh i just completed it rn and i would say that it had its bad moments and all and one ml did the other one dirty if you like think about it deeply, but he regretted it HARD and he was extremely guilty and GROVELED. The story did not ignore all that and did not move on with just one sorry or kiss, there was actual protrayal of regret and guilt. I'd say that you can’t judge this drama by mere comments or reviews and watch it yourself. I did that, even tho i swore not to watch it because of the same reasons.
My Stand-In was a very good drama. A lot of people told me that the male lead was a red flag, that he was a bad person, and that he did terrible things. They used big statements like how he destroyed someone's career and made it sound extremely serious.
As someone who reads reviews before watching a drama, I expected something much worse. The way people described it made it seem like there were heinous actions and extreme wrongdoing. But honestly, that was not my experience at all.
I think you can only truly judge a drama after watching it yourself. You cannot reduce an entire story or character to a keyword like "red flag" and expect that to tell the whole story. Everyone has their own perception. Because of those reviews, I judged this drama heavily and decided I was not going to watch it. Now that I have watched it, I can confidently say that it was actually very good.
One thing I especially appreciated was the groveling. In many dramas, there is little to no groveling at all. Characters make mistakes, say a quick sorry, and move on. They simply kiss and make up, which is a common trope in BL dramas. It is not necessarily a bad thing, but it is rare to see genuine remorse handled well.
Here, the male lead truly suffered for his mistakes. He was sorry, he cried, and he desperately tried to make things right. Yes, he did Joe dirty, but the story never ignored that. The emotional payoff was satisfying because of how much regret and effort went into earning forgiveness.
The pacing was good, the story kept me engaged, and considering it was made by the producers behind Top Form and their company, it turned out to be a solid drama overall.
I would definitely recommend watching it for yourself instead of relying solely on online reviews. Many people dismiss it because of things they have heard about the main character, but I do not think that gives a fair picture of the drama. It has strong emotional moments, good angst, and one of the better portrayals of groveling that I have seen.
You might like My Stand-In, male lead is very possessive, there's lots of angst and jealousy and the plot is very…
Oh! well fine i'll watch it then! Thanks for explaining. Also, do you have some more recs? similar dynamics like this yk not fully fluffy. i've literally watched all the famous ones (the ones mentioned and JackJoker, Heart killers, Bad buddy, reset, ai long nhai, etc)
