Limbo of waiting for Sammy's Children's Day s2 official announcement ☠

Yes
It's bromance in its original actual meaning, not what the word evolved to for whatever reason. No romance or hints of romance between the guys.
In my personal opinion not much space to ship them either. It's not one of those dramas where dudes have deep long stares that suggest soul connection and whatnot.
If there are any in here, it's more for a comical effect than anything else. So unless you develop a completely new story for the characters in your head, I don't think there's much shipability here.
It's just a wholesome story of male friendship (not only that, but in the bromance department that's what it is).

After reading the comments in the first season, I was hesitating. But I decided to give it a try, and I am glad…
There is a movie.

Title Had I Not Seen the Sun Spoiler
Depends on what kind of romance you are looking for.(Sorry for the cryptic response- can't think of a better way…
I found it very romantic, but in a bittersweet way. However, as the sachapz stated: depends what you mean by romantic. There aren't many moments that would give you butterflies etc. The attraction between the characters is more emotional than physical I'd say. Personally, I felt like for the ML the girl is like a ray of sunshine in a dark suffocating world. And I found it very moving and romantic.

I started this because im craving for a comedy but after 1 episode, im not sure if its my type of humor. I find…
Well, I probably know (and I suppose everybody else who watched it knows) which scenes you refer to. In my impression it gets a bit less... vulgar in the later episodes (or maybe I just got used to it😋). They certainly went most "wild" in the first two eps though. Not really my type of humour either, but I pushed thru because I found the other parts really fun. To me personally, this drama is overall both really fun and wholesome. Maybe try giving it another chance?

To anyone who has seen this, is it as graphic as Wu Kangren-led's Copycat Killer ?
I think Copycat Killer is more graphic. This one (at least the first season) is not overtly graphic. However, there are still scenes that are hard to watch (not so much for blood etc., but just emotionally difficult to get thru)

So speaking of character OSTs, my favourite ones are Liu Yan's and Xi Fang Tao's songs.Aside from these, I really…
I guess it's not really that deep for me. I simply like them musically. Liu Yan's song is a rather atmospheric ballad and I do appreciate the pipa solo in between the verses, makes me think like he's actually the one playing and singing ;)
Xi Fang Tai's song is probably the most interesting to me in terms of arrangement. It sound both very modern and at the same time very traditional, with the drums and all. I also think her singing voice sound ethereal and captivating, light and seductive at the same time - exactly how I saw her character in the drama.
Does that make sense? :P

I'm two episodes in and... wow. If someone told me Ivy Shao here and Ivy Shao in, say, More than Blue were two different actresses, I might've believed them. She's so different here... Granted, they gave her this femme fatale look, dark clothes, black sleek hair, red lipstick (she looks great btw), but it's not just that. Her entire aura, energy around her is completely different.
Good actress.

Did y'all listen to the character theme songs? Don't think it was ever discussed? Anyways now I'm curious which…
So speaking of character OSTs, my favourite ones are Liu Yan's and Xi Fang Tao's songs.

Aside from these, I really like Faye's song from the main soundtrack "Cong Ci Yi Hou" - both music-wise and lyrics-wise.

Title Whispers of Fate Spoiler
I took a small break from watching this, partially because the one episode a day pace was killing me and partially…
I don't think he knew this technique before. The way I understood it, he learnt it while being inside that dream machine thingy.
Otherwise this would be an extremely big plot hole in the story for me.

It's coming to Viki. At least it has appeared today on Coming Soon section.
A bit disappointed that the previous cast is not the real one, I was excited for Wu Kang Ren in this.
Still, Ivy and Fandy are a reason enough to give it a try. Tony is a bonus :)

does it have bromance between Jiang Yi Jie and Gao Zhi Yao?
If you mean actual bromance then yes, you could say so. They seems to gradually develop a form of friendship and they are super fun to watch whenever together.

If you mean "bromance", as this word seems to have gradually evolved in drama community, meaning censored romance then no, I don't think there's any hint of romance between them, minus a few light-hearted jokes.

Aw, thank you so much! Although my Mandarin "skill" (emphasis on inverted comas) would probably allow me to understand maybe 1-2% of what they're saying, I'll bookmark this link :)

ok os just finished ep 10 - this is one of the best dramas I’ve watched in a long time. Its so beautifully acted…
There are some definite Taiwanese gems out there. Personally I'd recommend:
More Than Blue (Taiwanese version - the drama, not the movie)
Born for the Spotlight
Let's Talk About Chu
Copycat Killer

There's also this drama called At The Moment, it's like an anthology of different stories. I didn't like all, but I really loved the second episode and I would recommend it even as an individual story.

Supposedly Someday or One Day (from the same creators as this one) is really good, but I haven't watched it so far.

This series has really flown under people’s radar. It’s only trending in Taiwan and no where else.
They're really not promoting it much from what I've seen. It's even difficult to find an official trailer on YouTube. Like, the only official one I found was on Netflix Taiwan YouTube channel and I could only find it by using the original Mandarin title.
I think this drama has a serious potential to become an international hit, but... 🤷‍♀️

Title Had I Not Seen the Sun Spoiler
Does the FL continue being a bit annoying? I want to like it, but the FL's confusion and disorganized state is…
I assume you're annoyed with Pin Yu (the reporter girl). Wait for Hsiao Tung (the ballerina girl) to appear. Way more likeable by my standards ;) (though I don't really mind neither)

this would be my first Taiwanese drama. it says 18+, is there any explicit sex/rape or nude?
There is a rape scene. It's not explicit, there's no nudity etc. But it's nevertheless still very powerful and hard to watch (emotional damage).
Aside from that, there's quite a lot of violence, domestic abuse etc.
