Kanit is pretty and sophisticated, good for an official boyfriend title. Narcissists like Lion like power over people, he doesnt want to set Kanit free for other people (like Toto) to swoop in.

This might be the point in time where there are the most number of BLs airing at the same time (CBLs, JBLs, a couple of KBLs, a lot of high profile Thai BLs) but this series is honestly yhe best of them all 🤷‍♀️

The banter, the situational humor, the fast pacing and plotline, the robust acting and characterisation (including supporting characters), and the amazing chemistry!!!

This issue is not talked about any where at all right now, not on Twitter, not on tiktok, YT, Tumblr, reddit or any of the forums where there is BL discourse. The commentary everywhere is overwhelmingly positive. It’s only a few people speculating here because MDL has random ratings for new shows or because of stan wars. Face reality, your speculation has no grounds.

I don’t need to defend a thoughtless mistake which could have happened to anyone, what I am doing here is clapping back at trolls who are trivialising an extremely serious matter by dragging it here in unrelated forums where it definitely does not belong. The dialogue in this show is top notch. The banter is humorous and actually matches the characterisation. Plus, it sounds like something people would say in daily life, not like some bookish or theatrical language.

That’s natural, of course newer couple in general would be more hyped than a 10 year old couple. Having said that, TayNew are 100% more popular and hyped than FirstKhaotang and even JoongDunk domestically. TayNew have a LOT more events/endorsements/fanmeets/concerts etc than FK. In Thailand and countries like Japan/China, they are also more popular than JD, TayNew get more events there.

Gem4th , pondphuwin are two of the top couples in whole of BL world, hardly anyone else is on their level. For a decade old couple, TayNew are not doing too shabbily at all, they are actually relevant. This series also trended quite well, especially given it’s not even available to watch in many countries, given viki is delayed viewing.

No that’s not the reason at all. The reality is that nobody is talking about that incident at all now.

The ratings are low either because of randomness (MDL hardly has a transparent rating system) or other couple fans downvoting just to have their faves shows look better by comparison. It’s a competition mindset., however illogical that is.

After episode seven, all of the characters are pissing me off.

The mom is a menace till the end. The brother is always irritating. Yichen is too wishy washy and passive. And while Lu Feng is often the most logical, he is too loud and aggressive.

Tay and New are really good actors and they can do a variety of roles, unlike some BL actors whose characters all blend into each other, you can’t differentiate one from another.
