The clip went viral simply because these guys are famous, because BL shippers go crazy about any sort of interaction between two men in general, and also because everyone was laughing about it in the clip because it was them goofing off as usual. But some people, like you, have to take it seriously and make things weird. Poor Tay had to fight with people like you on SM because they kept harping on this incident.

Anyway, this is all completely irrelevant to the topic for this page, which is the show. The real life dynamics between any of these actors is none of our business and delusions of shippers should not be discussed here.

Firstly, why would anyone think that these actors would be committed offscreen? Acting is make believe and this is a job for them. Yes, Thai bl actors do fanservice offscreen, to engage delulu shippers, but fans need to distinguish reality from fantasy.

Secondly, what”passionate kiss”? 🤣🤣 that one second peck? You do realize Gun kisses everybody? I’ve seen so many clips on my TL of him kissing, hugging and doing intimate skinship with lots of people. Of course Off and New were unconcerned about the peck, he kisses them all the time as well.

Not many shows are able to go beyond the BL fandom sphere and cross over to the general audiences. Me and Thee is such a phenomenal hit!

I’m not debating the fun aspect, I’m just saying that it was never the intention of the narrative to hide who the bad guy is from the audience. The show is primarily a romance, with a little bit of crime and magic sprinkled in, it never aimed to be a complicated mystery.

Considering that the actor mentioned during the promo that he was playing the antagonist, there was no intent to hide it in the first place.

Yes, they have a pilot out which is not bl. And the entire reason why this “ship” came about is because these actors are friends in real life, which somehow meant that they are dating in the deluded minds of shippers who clearly don’t have any friends. Shipping characters who have chemistry is understandable. Shipping actors based on their personal lives is disgusting and I will gladly mock anyone who does so.

Japanese bl throughout this year was mostly a wash lol. Bland plots and silly acting. None of the shows were a big hit since Our Youth. It’s only the most recent crop of JBLs that are airing now which are more promising.
