Let me help you to decide if you want to watch it or not.

1st this drama got the funniest, messy, cartoonist and worst editing. Maybe it’s a low budget drama.

2nd the casting are pretty good. They acted really well.

3rd. There are soo many plot hole throughout the episode. The characteristics of each character are not consistent throughout the drama.

4th. The 2 ML are plainly stupid. Same goes with 2FL. So bear with stubborn, idiocy, ignorant and annoying love square that going on from 1st ep to last ep.

5th. The drama start strong with showing how great FL was. But apparently she is soo stupid that she never realised any of demon around her. Not to mention always falls into trap.

6th. The ML supposed to be mortal. But dude, he can be stronger than FL or other immortal out of nowhere just whenever he wants too. Weird and funny lorh.

7th. Looking for romance between the lead ?? This drama got 32 ep for this season. First 10 ep are cute with bickering, flirting and joking around. Next 3 ep they got into relationship. And another 19 episode are all repetitive with “i left you for your own good” “I’m sorry i have to leave you” and etc. lol. Boring !!!

STORY: the story is good at first, but it started to get boring and typical. it was quite disappointing as i started to watch this series because of both main lead. but the story keep getting typical, and annoying till the end. especially with the way the main lead act in the series.

ACTING / CAST: well pretty sure everyone know that the main lead are both good actor. not to mention the acting is really good that you will feel really annoyed with the main lead guy. and you will feel like crying every time the main girl cried. and feel pity to the second lead guy who deserve a ``good guy card award``.

MUSIC: i like the ost actually.. after watching 8 ep, u start to sing the opening song without u realizing it unless u are the type of person who skip everything when watching a series.

REWATCH: i don't think ill watch it in near possible time.. maybe ill re-watch it after a while when i almost forgot bout the story-line.

STORY..i want to kill that person who wrote this drama..the title are school beauty's personal bodyguard.. i know this drama genre are martial art.. but DON'T WATCH it !! i imagine that there are a bit romance between the bodyguard and the beauty.. that this is the story between the two of them..but what the hell is going on that suddenly starting from the last few episode, the beauty just missing in action..till the last episode, you won't find the beauty anymore.. and from there, they start to show us all the nonsense overly cg martial arts..and the last episode are just rubbish..how can they make the ending just like that.. it just like uncomplete drama but they make the last episode last minute just because they can't air the drama for the sake of cookies CF.

as for ACTING AND ACTOR.. i give a bit high score as that guy is cute.. hahah but still not worth it to watch whole 20 episode for him.. as for girl, they also did a good job on their character.

MUSIC, no comment bout it, not really pay attention to it,, actually didn't catch my attention at all.

REWATCH ?? oh i can't watch it again.. i just deleted the whole drama from my computer and my recycle bin..can't recover it..

i really looking for this drama for a long time..as i can't understand mandarin, so i need to wait for the subtitle..which is quite hard to find HD video with english subtitle for this drama. however, it is worth it !!

STORY are good..not so many twist in the drama..but i like the plot..the drama are quite light where there not so many twist plot which usually are in 70 - 80 episode of the drama..but you won't get bored because because there are so many funny scene..we have 2 main couple in this drama..Vanness and Bobby couple..sorry to Vanness fan, but i actually love the 2nd main couple story more than Vanness story..
Bobby are so manly and handsome and cute in the drama compared to LOVE NOW drama which i rather find him a bit annoying there..hahaha but because of this drama, i think i fall for him..haha again ! and not to say that Bobby girlfriend are a bit dumb and annoying in this drama, but they just suited each other..and and not to mention that this couple kiss a lot more than Vanness couple !! haha but still, both main couple story actually are pretty sweet and cute..

ACTING/CAST. i'm a bit annoyed with vanness sometime in this drama.. but that's meant he really good with acting..because his character are a bit annoying and not really the cool macho manly type..which if compare with Bobby, also good actor (thumbs up with his acting), he really2 show you a manly handsome ideal guy..haha my taste..as for main girl, Joanne and Guo Shu Yao which are siblings in this drama, they did a good acting there..i always love Joanne since MAGICIANS OF LOVE (can't believe this drama aired 10 years ago)..for me she really a good actress..as for Guo Shu Yao, she always act for the same silly, cute, bubbly, and innocent character..

MUSIC..haha the song pretty good..but there are only 3 song in this drama..so it is quite repetitive..the music arrangement is okay for each scene..but because it is repetitive, so after 40 episode you will start to sing along with it..huhu

as for REWATCH, maybe i will when i get unemployed and got nothing to do for the whole month.. or else who's going to repeat the whole 80 episode again..haha maybe i will, but after some time when i get really bored..but not now since there are tons of new korean and taiwan drama to watch.

i really like this drama.. i think it is one of the best taiwan drama for 2015..the cast get 10/10 because of their acting that is sooooo cool..as u know the drama setting is about cooking and school..so basically there will be a lot of student around main actors..but no worry because, the supporting cast make this drama even better..they are cool, humorous, witty, cheeky and amusing..

there will be a lot of couple in this drama..but i won't say who'll end up with whom..that'll ruined the fun..however i do felt a bit of disappointed with ending of one couple here..not the main characters of course..bcause i really love the chemistry between HanJie and FangXiaoRou(not sure if i spell correctly)..but still, it is a pity that they didn't show a bit of their marriage life in the drama..that will make the ending sweet and cute isn't it ?

overall i love the story line..except the fact that female lead is a bit stupid and kept having her own thought which lead to misunderstanding..which is i really hate that part..even i do think that what makes the Fang Xiou Rou look soo cute...haha ok, except that particular female lead fact..i love how the story is soo fast moving without any misunderstanding or problems that dragged to 3 or 4 episodes like others drama..

i really2 love the ost..especially the BII song and the ending theme sing by ROSSIE(and the other guy..don't remember)..i always be a BII fan.. but this drama make the song even better..so if you want to know what i mean..you have to watch the drama and listen to the ost and you'll see that the ost fit perfectly..!!

i know some of you like BROMANCE better..but for me, i'll delete bromance already and will keep re-watch LOVE CUISINE since this drama gave you a pure, innocent and sweet love story that will remind you of your first puppy love..hahaha

1st, maybe it's my fault. after watching The Eternal Love, i was looking for next romance drama. so i decide to watch this because of the actor is cute and the actress is beautiful. but my warning, if you're like me, fans of romantic drama who care bout main couple more than any other side story or conflict, then don't watch this. if you like palace power struggle, misunderstanding and etc, you're most welcome to watch it.

kudos to the cast.. the actor are really great at acting that the evil muddled emperor will actually make you curse like hell infront of your laptop ! the setting, and wardrobe are superb but i accidentally saw a tear cloth at armpit area wore by main male lead.. ahahhaha

the 1st ep until 20ep mybe was okay.. the story was good.. but the suddenly the whole story just turn into new story.. the main lead doesn't recognise each other anymore ! and the romance just dead ! for whole 50 ep, NO KISS at all.. romance between lead is only about 2% of whole drama.. other than that it's all lied, misunderstanding, fighting, power struggle in palace, and bla bla blaaa..

rewatch ?? nope.. sorry.. i felt depressed watching it..

Not perfect but BEAUTIFUL

before you judge. Read my review till the end.

The drama overall is full of loophole. Like no explanation for certain things and you have to make your own conclusions. Some characters are really unnecessary and don’t have a closure they deserve like the ML ex girlfriend.
Some characters, you will only find the reason and explanation on last episodes. So you might have to remember back who is em and what from 1st episodes.

But overall. The drama is very relaxing. The FL is a very positive person with positive aura. I love the father daughter relationship. The ML is not really that typical successful ceo arrogant vibe kind of ML. But instead he just a normal human. And i love the uncle nephew relationship too. But best relationship is the priest and uncle relationship. Huhu. Overall i love the drama.

It was beautifully done for the relationship part. Not so much on drama suspense and plot twist. The drama actually focus on the FL who can see the dead. And in every episode, you have to be bear with the heartbreak. So prepare some tissue.

When I thought we will be all happy in episode 16, yup we lost one of best character ever. And he is the last person that the FL has to send. And it was soo beautifully done.
All living will end-up with death. And not everyone got 2nd chance. Not every love is explainable. And we don’t have all time in the world to show, appreciate and tell someone we love them.

All in all. In the midst of 21 loss and tragedy, there is a miracle. And our FL is the centre of that miracle even when she didn’t realise it or know it. This drama is funny one part. Sad and tearjerker too. Slice of life too. And teach you bout love and life too.

Everything and everyone you love. Will be gone. So show them your love before it is too late. We always thought we have soo much time on our hands, so we think it is okay to “wait” and “later”. But what if we don’t have that “later” ??

I’m gonna call my father. And my boyfriend after watching this drama. Hahahahha

1st.. the main guy, William is damn cute.. some scene he look normal..some scene he looks damn cute.. and the main girl, i thought she is not pretty so it is a bit turn down to watch it at first, but voila she is beautiful when she smile.

i like the character portrayed in this.. how the girl always calm and she is not damsels in distress but she mentally and physically strong on her own.. and i like how cool the guy are..

the story are a bit dragging on romantic part as i keep waiting and waiting for em to get into relationships. but you wont get bored in between as they flirt a lot ! and buy using drone of course.

overall the drama is nice to watch.. and worth it.. ????

if compare to old MG, Hana yori dango, Boys over flower, and even the original comic, this is the only MG that explain everything, like why they do what they did in the movie. what happened behind the back in the lead life instead of leaving audiences to guess it.

and compare with all those, this is the most funny, saddest, cutest, sweetest. i like how they tell the story for all their friends. how the sweet and tamed daoming si are after meeting the girl. and how i cried like hell when they broke up.

why i gave high rating, is because i hardly cried when watching a drama and i never did for previous series, but i did in this series. i even like this ending better than old MG ending..

Story: the story is very good that i got stuck in the 1st ep. the girl lead are not like typical woman. she just portrayed a normal woman who are very dirty at home, and going out with nice clothes and make up, and really love food. the guy is basically love to cook. and cooking without a shirt is a bonus to those who are watching though. haha the story is very cute. they start as friends and start to care for each other. and the main girl lead are quite daring in expressing her feeling but keep the real inner feeling in her.

Acting/Cast: the acting for both are damn good, and their chemistry is good.

Music: the music score highest among other 11 u prince series. i love the ost which was sing both by main lead.

Rewatch: i`ll rewatch it if im bored in next few month.

if you're looking for a light, sweet, romantic drama, then i will really2 recommend this !!

story : i love how the writers wrote the story and the romances between them..this drama is quite light without any antagonist or bad second lead interfere much..not also typical drama where the rich cold guy fall for the poor nice woman..this drama is just a story between two genius gorgeous student who fall with each other and met through an online game..of course they share same interest..relationship goals alert !! haha..this drama makes me wanna fall for someone..so if you want to watch a really sweet cute drama, i would recommend this !!

cast : at first i thought that the male lead look a bit awkward, but then i realize that i keep fall for him..not to mention that he got that looks ! you may thought that the girl are a bit loud in the gym or cafeteria scene, but trust me after sometime you'll join them and scream !
for the female lead, i love how she act..she looks refine, elegant, intelligent and very sweet..i love how she talks (not like other taiwan drama where the female lead are very loud)..
as for both, i do think they suit with each other..this drama is not like other where they fight and gradually fall in love..but since from the beginning they are so in love..that chemistry between them is surely your relationship goal !

ost : i'm not saying the ost are bad..but truthfully i don't even remember any song from this drama..maybe i didn't pay attention to the music..but heyy i'm watching a drama not listening to a music..

rewatch : of course i will..but maybe i'll start from when they are together instead from the beginning..why ?? please remember that 30 ep means 30 hours..so just for rewatch i'll skip first 10 episodes..huhu
